Every time I watch Aluko he looks so composed on the ball AND a powerful runner that likes to get forward. Something Thomas & Kristiansen are not. 
 

Would much rather persist with him than two fullbacks we know aren’t up to it.

I went to the game and the under 21s played how Marti talks about his team playing. They look comfortable on the ball and get it forward quickly. They pressed really well and recovered the ball in the few occasions they lost it. Combinations down each wing were good, particularly the left side. Aluko and Cover were really excellent and every player gave everything they had.

Really needs a loan in January. That said with our ACMs dropping like flies and Page off to the U17 World Cup, Marti might be forced to have a look at him in the 1st team.
