I'm genuinely stunned Aluko hasn't got a sniff, he was one of the better players throughout pre season along with Page

I think we all are. Told he gives young players a chance then reverts to same old shite week in week out. Dont think Page is ready personally from seeing him this season but we could definitely use a new RB

Aluko impressed me more than anyone in pre season. He's definitely ready. Ridiculous that MC doesn't consider him especially when Thomas is stinking out the place at left back

He was definitely the best of the bunch but I think he's theoretically got more competition than anyone else because there's at least 2 options in each of the positions he plays. Would much rather see him ahead of VK but surely VK has to be in for Thomas at the least now.

Hugo de lisle called up for England u17

Just clocked over the last two camps we’ve had a player involved at every youth level.

U21 - Ben Nelson, U20 - Bade Aluko, U19 - Jeremy Monga, U18 - Louis Page, U17 - Hugo De Lisle, U16 - Darren Motsi

I’d like to hope Evans and Hutchinson might add to that in November based on their form.

Pretty good going.

Nope, Nelson’s lost his place in England U21s cause he isn’t getting minutes here

Note for the future, Adrian Muskwe (brother of the academy player Admiral Muskwe) scored 6 goals with #LCFC's U15 against their Cheltenham counterparts.
He has been one of the top scorers in the U16 and is shaping up to be one of the most promising talents in the academy.

Hopefully does what his brother sadly didn’t

if the club/MC has any faith in the younger players then actually give them a go

after seeing how well the likes of Josh King(at fulham) is doing, the links of Louis Page, Aluko, Nelson, Evans etc

they should all be given a go or least in the squad imo,

Chelsea's Landon Emenalo plus Tottenham pair Junai Byfield and Tynan Thompson have withdrawn from England's #U17WC squad.

Malachi Hardy, Elijah Upson (both Spurs) and Jake Evans (Leicester) have replaced them. #ENGU17

So two spurs players pulled out and replaced by ……. two spurs players !  Must have quite an U17 age group!

Do you think there's an element of the youth England squads are picked based on the big clubs rather than the best players in their age group? There is obvious correlation but it is so rare to see a small club have much representation at England youth level.

Stuart Wilson and Stuart Campbell eh? What could have been. What might have been. What should have been. Been.

I don’t think so

plenty of the other age groups seem to have a fair spread of clubs represented

Probs just a strange U17 spurs thing this age group - co incidence

I expect we will be disappointed again tonight by seeing Aluko, Page, and Evans playing for the under 21s

Evans and Page have surely joined up with England now??
