The manager needs a clear message from the fans. As the Board will give him no such message. 

 

If the younger, newer fresher players are WORSE than the old guard, we'll still back them and back him for cutting out the cancers.

He had to haul BEK off because he wasnt trying. He's got players like winks storming off having a paddy because he cant handle his own ego.

 

He mentioned several times post match theres a tough dynamic thats going to be difficult to break and take some time.

 

Its been 3 games and hes figuring all of this out, how broken the team is and how the bad the attitudes of some players are, they were probably all smiles after beating Wednesday, but its in these moments this core group will show their true colours and he will really understand.

 

Let's see where we are at in a few more games, and hopefully we can do a bit of a shuffle in player personel. Which I recognise is very much down to the incompetent morons so I wont hold my breath.

 

If hes still starting players like vestergaard after all hes learned then fine, absolutely take shots, but its way too early to be going for him too heavy atm.

Agreed with this. I’d much sooner see the newbies, even if they’re a little rusty. Nelson had a stinker the other night, but I’d prefer him to some of the alternatives.

Why not let the manager do his job rather than always think we know better?

 

You know, give him our trust whilst he gets his feet under the table, and support the team.

What's the harm in him knowing the supporters are prepared for poor results in exchange for players who want to play for us?

He can only do that with the support of his DoF, Owner and fanbase, do you think Rudders and Top will back him to alienate the likes of Vesty, Soumare, Winks et al to the bomb squad, personally i think not. As fans are we brave to accept a season of ups and downs whilst we trust the academy players, personally I am but accepting that we probably won’t piss the league or even make the play offs I would happily trade to see players like Nelson, Monga, Page, Aluko, Evans and Alves starting every week.

Freshness. Even if it means being worse. I think the manager would benefit from knowing the support would back his decisions to refresh the club and not just chase a 'quick win' by relying on the old guard

I agree but they probably wont stick around for a second season

So you have knowledge that these three should be taken from Marti’s options for his own good?

Whilst I completely agree unfortunately the club is rudderless and we could see back in April that basically you could sell the lot but the recruitment team have shifted only a fraction of the issue - Marti is probably aware that we need to shift about 6 more but benching or reserving them won’t help matters - we need Bilal to go to provide some flexibility I would imagine then we could ship out basically everyone bar the kids and Fatawu which no one would disagree with but just can’t see it……we won’t be able to judge him until he has rid of all the experienced entitled idiots……this season is a right off already and we need to do what Nige did by clearing out all the twonks and bringing in hungry players like James, Drinky, Etc alongside some youngsters but it was all about building an identity which we definitely don’t have now - its really sad to see how we have fallen and 3 games in we can all see its a car crash AGAIN!!!

Why can’t we just back him to do the refresh he feels is required? I agree some show of solidarity is a good idea, it just should not come with strings.
