Think I prefer the first round to the third these days.

There's so much lower league football on TV these days that's there's often no mystery to any of the participants - plus the TV games are frequently awful picks. With the first round, you still get to enjoy players you've never heard of causing upsets.

Having around 30 games at the same time helps rather than the nonsensical third round schedule.

Grounds with racetracks around them never work.

Yet theres many in italy that have incredible atmospheres.  Can't be a great viewing experience though.

Oh you meant here they don't work.

Yeah pretty much, look at West Ham for example. Upton Park had one of the best atmosphere's, a  ground move to London Stadium.. the atmosphere is gone.

They'll put Liverpool v Barnsley on TV somewhere. They are nit usually bothered about Man City games against lower league teams unless there is nothing else.

Spurs v Villa, man utd v Brighton, Charlton v Chelsea, Portsmouth v arsenal all guaranteed to be on. I'd imagine they'll puy Wrexham v Forest on a Thursday or something as well.

Easy for Man City again

Hate it when people bang this drum, realistically what is your point here mate? Aside from another one of the big 6 or whatever it is now, everyone is an 'easy draw' for Man City. I make that a 92% chance of an 'easy draw' in the third round

As in, quite easy I'd say.

Agree with your point about only another big 6 side could really, really test them. But just seem to think they regularly get very easy ties.

It's a tired and basic opinion that gets lobbed about when they draw someone like Rotherham. Of course it's certain to be untrue when examined over a statistically significant period of time.

Every single draw people chirp up with: ANOTHER EASY TIE FOR [INSERT 'BIG' TEAM HERE].

Will happily take some stats to counter my argument though.

Apparently there is a suppose leaked tv listings on twitter, it was posted then take down in minutes. On the list I seen briefly it's said we are set for Saturday 10th January at 12.30pm away at Cheltenham. Wouldn't be bad if that's true but as many prefer 3pm.
