If someone bought the club I feel like it’s because they have the ambitions of getting us back to the Premier League and Seagrave would be a big selling point for them as part of that strategy.

Doesn’t really matter though because I think we’re stuck with Top and King Power, unfortunately.

Its an illusion that seagrave improves sporting performance of the players, there is no evidence to support it.

Its just a more comfortable training environment and marquee for the club.

The issue isn’t the facility, it’s the dross that fills it that is the problem.

I can’t share more but there is at least one thing I know of that absolutely needlessly costs the club about £5k a year.

Filbert?

Seagrave isn’t responsible for where we are now.

I’ll counter argue and say it is potentially the reason why in recent years we have managed to attract certain players, over our rivals.

If it continues to attract younger talent that we can sell, then it’s worth the investment.

If it cost us £5m per year, the sale of Kasey McAteer covered the cost for two years (wages aside).

I would however move the women’s team into Seagrave as well, however this may be complicated.

Seagrave is so top end and of a high specification, it  could re-purpose the place as a hotel, golf resort, sports training centre, Spa, rehabilitation centre, technology park or even repurposed as a closed gated community.

It has plenty of book value on the open market.

Remember Cov during their problems had to sell there training grounds to Wasps.

I wonder if the Tigers would be interested in part owning Seagrave, make it joint training venue.

Have you seen the Tigers balance sheet? They could part own it yes, 99% LCFC 1% Tigers.

Could we sell thee women's training facility and put them in with the men's team.

umm. We could.  But that might not be wise .

some might argue the amount of young talent we have coming through could point to the fact  that seagrave is ‘working’

Sell the KP Stadium and site play all home games at Seagrave with tickets costing £1k per match, so full of KPFC fans.

One of our worst decisions building this before expanding and updating the King Power, I know we dont need the expansion now but at the time it would have at least generated us more revenue and might have stopped the decline a little.

Seagrave was as much about developing new talent through our youth systems and I think it’s pretty clear that there has been an improvement in standards in that respect. The quality of the pipeline looks to be improving to the point that most of us are hoping that the club bring the academy players into the league 1 squad next year. Braybrooke, Aluko, Page, Monga, Joseph, Alves, Nelson etc etc look a step up from older academy graduates like Hamza and Thomas.
