When I was a teenager,a good few years ago now ,football  was my life and so was leicester  City .I could never imagine  not wanting  to see them play .I always said I'd  follow them even if they were in division 4.But enoughs enough, now don't watch them at all ,tv ,feel nothing  when they score ,see the result and not surprised  with how they've  played ,the team everything. Won't  go again till Kingpower and all these shit players have gone which is sad as I've  got some tremendous  memories  watching leicester  over the years. Thanks Top and Rudkin ,you ***** .

I dont worry about the people upstairs , i only see the players on the pitch , ive watched them though many seasons good and bad, dont

take it home with me, enjoy a beer before and a take away after, my release from a normal week, so medals dont come into it, i go for my benefit not theirs

Two completely opposing views but can understand both.

I'm steering more towards John's BUT yes Willie I understand the outlet of football too as long as the footy doesnt ruin the rest.

Basically one claps at the final whistle and one doesn’t..

It’s a sad state Freddy and there has been lows over the time I have followed - some of the 80’s and 90’s were awful but this current squad and leadership is some of the most inept - so sad to think 10 years ago we achieved the impossible - how has really got to this !!

Can't remember feeling this way about our club even during the 80s 90s to be honest Old Fox. And I recall we kinda had similar views on boycotting matches to. Maybe we, as with some younger fans, have been spoilt by our magnificent achievements.

Our wonderful City boy hero Gary Lineker has stepped in before so maybe I'm Rose tinted glasses about the old days, but the size of our issue's/debts seem much bigger now

If anyone wants to sell or preferably give away there season ticket for the rest of the season please let me know as I will gladly take it. For years I could not go on a Saturday due to life and now I have the chance I cant.

Despite this present and believe me many horrer shows over the years I could never turn my back on this club, I hate them, I love them it has been like this for 50 years. One week I am gunna burn my shirts, I am gunna take down that flag, I am gunna get a skin graft over this Leicester fox tatoo. Do I, no, a day later I am ohh whats happening at Leicester. Its in my blood, my DNA I can never be free 😅

We will rise again

We all care about Leicester.

They are our football club.

That’s why we are here.

I guess one of the biggest fears is that eventually we will get it right again and rise.

As much as I hate it at the moment, I can’t see myself ever giving my season ticket up.

I have misses so many games this season due to the fact that I  just can’t be arsed to watch this current side and the poor management but like all Leicester fans I’m just praying that good times are round the corner again.

Unfortunately I can’t see it with the current owner

Sadly no matter what those that are fanatics and not just fair weather  supporters ( sorry for that term) will turn up but the reality is that a significant % go because supporting a successful football team makes them feel good and when that same team is in the doldrums they don’t just stop going they quite often blank all matters re the club.

The sadness is that in terms of a town, a city a community having a successful football team does more for a feel good feeling in those environments than just about anything else sadly the concern is that at this point in time LC is a major point of division and contention also there is no doubt that some people’s mental health is being negatively impacted.

Its hard for those that follow the club through thick and thin to understand why some can’t match their level of support but that’s where we are and although subjective I would imagine that the “ fanatics” are by and large of a significantly older age profile meaning that unless they are replaced in the fanatical group by younger supporters at some point , unless success returns, the core numbers of those that attend no matter what will diminish.

Will be renewing hell of a return journey for me too, but I support Leicester City FC, have done since late 60s, when my grandad took me to the 69 cup final.

Support the club regardless who owns us obviously like many wish we were run better and KP need to leave, but I do Tigers games too, and the occasional cricket

love Sport end of especially live.

Praying I have the chance to 'buy the dip' to be honest, I used to work nights and weekends. Always wanted a season ticket.

If I only have to endure ten years of abject misery before things are decent again that'll be worth it.

You don't need a season ticket anymore and anyone renewing and actually saying they wont go much is missing something between the ears

This is a fair point.  I really can't understand why people buy a season ticket and not go?  Obviously, stating facts, you are depriving people of a season ticket, who can't get one plus it's like buying a platinum gym membership costing a fortune and then not go to the gym.

Nothing to do with ‘through the good times and the bad’. Not giving money to the club is the only possible way to get the ownership to leave like Newcastle fans did with Mike Ashley. People renewing are contributing to the down fall of the club

Shocked how high the yes vote is tbh

It’s the reason I gave up on any sort of positive change at this club years ago. No one cares, no one’s gonna do anything, no one’s going to protest or risk a ban or risk missing games against Bromley. It takes most people 3 years too long to see what’s going on - with Rodgers, with Rudkin, with Top. Meanwhile they mock those that see it sooner. Well everyone who did care and wanted change is apathetic by now.

It’s just easier to stop caring and replace football with a passion you can actually contribute to. I’m mildly annoyed when we lose and that’s it.

The fanbase has lost me as much as the owners have. They’ve made their bed. Collectively, our fans deserve this.

This thread is blatant proof that our fanbase is full of KP enablers that deserve this club's destruction.

Actually shocking how many people will still waste their money funding an ownership that is destroying their club.

I don't blame Aiyawatt for taking advantage of those who willingly let him do so, the same fans made their bed so let them lay in it.

I also think it’s more telling that more people will say no this time around.

King Power may well have a waiting list, however will that fill the void?

The longer this goes on for, the more the crowds will dwindle.

For someone who's wanted a season ticket for 20 years, it's a long game

Guess you only needed to go to 10/12 games this season and that covers your season ticket in individual match prices
