If so is it targeted towards users or just applied to certain threads in general?

Yeah it happens. And it can be annoying. Expecially when it stops you mid-conversation..

 

 

but to be honest, for a no-fee membership website with a small non-paid amount of staff, it’s an excellent way of maintaining the standards set. It should be considered a mild inconvenience.
