Strange game, scored 2 cracking goals but overall I still wasn't too impressed with him. Gave the ball away alot and his crosses rarely found a city player.

Seems to have finally remembered he has to put some power on his shots

Think he’s just showing that he’s still young and raw. Has got something but seems better when he’s pushed inside or left unmarked outside the box. With a good defender tracking him down he beats them for pace but they catch up before he makes the right decision so it invariably goes out for a corner. And we don’t often score from those. Two good goals tonight might help his confidence.

Clearly has something, not often Brighton get a signing wrong in recent years. Just very inexperienced and raw

Can we try to not forget Saturday before we heap praise on him for scoring against Fulham Under 21s (where all of the decent players are playing internationals).

His technique of striking the ball is so bizarre. That goal he scored for Sunderland at Wembley was a genuine miracle

 

But also worth bearing in mind he's young enough to have been lining up for that Fulham side last night.
