Thought Alves was class today but was stuck being a one man attack as Riis was off his game and Cullen is Cullen. Him and Braybrooke were the only two attacking players that troubled the opposition defence outside the goal.

 

In terms of Watson he's not better than Carr let alone Alves.

Carr is probably better than Burns at this point as well. At least he’s got the pace

I want to believe there is a player there, but he has not shown anything thus far. Genuine 0/10 performance today, can't kick a football. Gets into positions, can run, but does nothing else. No end product or quality. Maybe lacking in confidence but I'd send him back in January if this continues.

There's no probably about it. Burns has been terrible this season, Carr hasn't been exactly tearing up PL2 but this team desperately needs some with pace like him in our attack.

The lad is far too impatient for our forward line, he needs to learn how to pass if you cant score in the goal area, not just his half hearted take a punt.

I haven’t given up hope with him. He isn’t a dribbler like Alves but he does have some pace and does find promising positions. His crossing and shooting today were just poor but he certainly wasn’t the only one who’d apparently swapped their Predator Pro football boots for a pair of crocs two sizes too big. He’d definitely benefit as would Alves from having a more competent attacking left back behind him than Thomas.
