702 gets a ticket for Blackpool anytime of the year.

A little bit off topic but can the club decide whether to play the games even if the quota of players are called up for internationals?

Yes, they can. There was a case of a club doing it recently (can't remember which one). I think it was the late March one so quite near the end of the season. Their fixtures were piling up so they decided to just get on with it. I'd be surprised if anyone makes this choice earlier in the season - you want as many players to choose from as possible.

I believe the onus is on the club to apply for the postponement. Worth remembering that both clubs could have three or more call-ups.

Does anyone have any idea of how many are in the following bands:

Away Priority Scheme
STHs with 760+ Away Priority Points
Successful Fox Members

STHs with 720+ Away Priority Points

My nephew has 706 points and wants to get to a many away games as possible this season, trying to gauge how likely he is to get a ticket for games like Blackpool away.

It’s been a while since there was a thread on away priority points lol

I think fans who follow the club to basically every away game should have first choice. But agree the 50 points per season for season ticket holder should be looked at. The ticket office could make it more transparent with their sales. Why open the worst viewing sections first? Why have they removed the block opening order from their website. I know the ticket office staff are idiots but surely they can let fans know this simple information. Or are they too dense to know them selves

The block selling isn’t LCFC’s choice. It’s dictated to by the home club and the Police. Where LCFC could improve is opening up more blocks where confident it’s going to sell out

But totally agree on transparency. Things cited in the first message are no skin off their nose either

Personally I think the only changes needed are

1) Drop the 50 points per season (which massively weights it favour of long term season ticket holders, including those who never/rarely go to away games) over those that haven't had a season ticket for so many years but do go (or want to go) away, or at least drop it down to maybe e.g. 5 or 10 points per season to give a slight advantage over non season ticket holders. This would disadvantage me as I have the full quota of 50 points per season since it started, but I agree it's not fair.

2) Always put remaining away tickets on sale to people with booking history if there's any left after season ticket holders and membership priority windows.

I also agree with what people have been saying, that the selling order and exact details of full/initial allocation should be provided, and updated when it changes, and when it's obviously going to sell out the full/initial allocation then all blocks should be on sale from the start.

It needs to go rolling. The fact through age you can be so far ahead of others aint right when you literally can’t catch up due to the 50 every year.

Needs to be rolling, I was banned for a year and im still p1, that alone surely shows the system now is flawed.

Age old argument isn't it.

I think the system is completely sh1t but at the same time, I don't really know how it could be improved in a way that pleases everyone.

Its frustrating that people constantly lose out to the same people in this "The rich get richer" scheme....but at the same time, those that invest all that time & money following the club around England deserve to be rewarded.

I dunno, It is sh1t but when you come to terms with the fact you're not going to get tickets, its must less disappointing.

The most frustrating ones are the piss riddled fossils that have been going since 1901 through nothing more than force of habit.

Ageism?

Why not simply allocate one point per match attended, whether that is home or away?. That is a max of 23 home pts a season and only then if you go through the turnstiles for every game. This is allows those not with a season ticket to mive up he priorities. Definately needs to be a rolling number of years, somewhere between 3 and 5 years.

The issue while these clowns are in charge will always be transparency. You see in small matters like this just how little they give a ****.
