No, but they have a better idea if Soutter and Faes are leaving.

 

Hutchinson can cover at striker, it's an easier position for a kid to cover than CB.

 

I think we will end up with a CB perm, CB and CF on loan. 

 

Think it all hinges on what happens on the outs.

Martin has no intention of playing Bristric. Our striking duo will be Cullen and BDR, he’s made that pretty clear. Bristric will be the back up option.

Yep. Which is why in my opinion Martin is on a hiding to nothing. This is how he wants to play, so we will continue to see what we saw against Notts, it was a mistake hiring him, because of things like this…. Neither Cullen or BDR will score goals.

I can’t find the quote you’re referring to, but if he said that he’s been misinformed—BDR has never scored anywhere near 20 goals in League One, though he did once score 19 in the Championship. Whatever he said, I think you’re reading way too much into it. If a journalist asks Martin about his striking options, he’s hardly likely to talk down BDR in public—of course he’ll praise him. That doesn’t mean he’s his first choice for that position.

 

Martin has always favoured recognisable strikers (Will Grigg at MK Dons, Adsm Armstrong and Che Adams at Southampton). BDR has never been a traditional striker despite that one season in the  Championship with Bristol City nine years ago. Martin has played him so far because he hasn’t had much option. When Bristric is ready, he’ll be our CF unless we bring in another striker who’s even better.

Yes i agree but there was lots of noise, speculation, and twitter chat. 

There is literally nothing.. not even the obvious Agent propaganda...which speaks volumes .....or not

It’s not really twisting… there’s zero evidence that Martin plans to use Bristric, yet he’s repeatedly stated that he is happy with what he has from an attacking point of view.
