I reckon I’m in the same boat as much as I want to voice my anger I think it’s best to wait for the event of king power choosing not to sell - seen that mid September is the deadline so if there’s no progress maybe protests should be seriously considered to show strength of feeling and force their hand

No decisions will be made in September - just merely the serious parties being granted further information. You'll be looking at November before we get to the real bidding/negotating.

I think it would reach the press if no one was interested. People would talk in 'the City' about it. 

 

In terms of realistic buyers, that would be less likely to get leaked. Wouldn't be in anyones interest to be public with it. However, without doubt, you'll get a couple of parties speak up because they want to use the noise of the fans - yet the realism would be like Neil Lal, they don't have the money and they are just trying to push something through via coverage/fan protest. 

 

Interested parties will want to get deep into the data room and take proper stock of the finances. Because what might look worth one price on the outside will look another when the finances are taken into account. I think we'd be lucky to hear of a preferred bidder much by December if all goes how Citibank would want it too.

Yes and no. 

 

An administration makes it easier to buy Leicester City but that's 12 months away when the likes of HMRC start to call things in to the court. 

 

Any future purchaser would be calculating the risk of the spend to sort us out this season (ie sack Martin) v the spend to sort out administration (we'd start next season with minus 15 and a shed load of creditors to pay off).  The existing owners were hoping we'd in the top two by October and looking solid, thus anyone buying is already thinking that's one promotion done and back in the Championship with an improved revenue stream. 

 

Then it's a complex web as well in terms of ownership of the stadium/training ground as well - would they be part of any admin package? Leuven another consideration. Too difficult to say but it would be a real pain in the arse and it would likely extend any future timeframe to recover by 2 years at least.

I think Seagrave would likely go up for auction if we go into Administration. At that point, Forest would be crazy not to be all over it.

The aim is to make those two twats feel unwelcome and to factor this into their decision to get out of here. It might lower their asking price if there's incentive to get out of here.

Plenty of excuses for our appallingly placid fanbase not to protest.

 

Even the King Power Out thread on this forum drops down a couple of pages after one half decent result, when it should be the hottest topic on here every day IMO, even if we win 6 games on the bounce (not happening).

 

The protests and noise against the hierarchy needs to be ramped up, even if the club is up for sale.

 

KP/TOP/RUDKIN OUT NOW.

force their hand I guess, make it uncomfortable, if fans are constantly making life difficult for you every game and making it known they want you out NOW your gonna be more inclined to take a bid rather than hold out for a long time, at the end of the day regardless of the fact that we are up for sale we shouldn't lie back and let things take their course ffs
