Competing to win Group A ✊
Ilari Kangasniemi helped Finland U21s beat Romania 2-0 this evening, with his side now eyeing top spot in their EURO U21 qualifying pool.
They have won seven of their nine games and lead their group on 22 points

3 in the Wales squad tonight plus Danny Ward.....

He seem quite assured today tbh.

But Haaland was fairly quiet and should've scored via a close-range header.

Liam Cullen starred in Wales’ 2-1 victory over Norway in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday evening.
Liam Cullen was part of the Wales side which beat Norway 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League
Ryan Donnelly started in Northern Ireland Under-21s’ draw with Georgia
Louis Page and Harry Howell could feature for England Under-19s on Friday
The Leicester City attacker, earning his 16th international cap, was in from the off at Cardiff City Stadium, where first-half goals from Daniel James and Neco Williams saw Craig Bellamy’s men earn all three points, despite Oscar Bobb’s early opener.

It was an uphill task for the visitors once Torbjørn Heggem was shown a red card straight after the break and the Dragons saw out the win on home soil, with Cullen playing 76 minutes before being replaced by Joel Colwill, while fellow Foxes Wes Burns and Dai Cornell were unused substitutes.
Remaining fourth in League A Group 4, they’re now level on points with Norway, and Denmark, who Wales host on Sunday, a 7:45pm kick-off at Cardiff City Stadium.
Elsewhere, Ryan Donnelly started a 1-1 draw for Northern Ireland Under-21s against Georgia in UEFA EURO U21 qualification.

The 20-year-old played the first half at Ballymena Showgrounds before being replaced by goalscorer Cole Brannigan, who levelled the scores following Khalid Doltmurziev’s strike, which had broken the deadlock.
Now guaranteed to finish third in Group F, Tommy Wright’s side are four points ahead of Georgia, but 10 behind leaders Germany and host second-place Greece in their final fixture at Mourneview Park in Lurgan next Tuesday (5pm kick-off).
International action continues for our Foxes on Friday, with Louis Page and Harry Howell potentially in action for England Under-19s against USA.
All times BST.

Was worried he had an injury after his absence last week.

Will be interesting to see how his gametime is affected by the arrival of Smallbone

I unfortunately think it will be Braybrooke if either of them are impacted. Sammy is going to have to deliver MOTM performances most weeks to stay in it seems. If and when Chaplin is ever fit or if Reid becomes flavour of the month again and both could be out I suppose, depressing if so.

Braybrooke isnt rated by a lot of our fans but he's been ever present under Martin. I cant see Martin dropping him considering on paper he's the ideal possession midfielder.

I hope so mate, going to be difficult keeping them all happy.

Sorry but "he's isn't rated by a lot of our fans" is a bit of sweeping statement that isn't backed up by any data is it?  You maybe reading one or two numpty posters posting s**t in the heat of the moment at the end of a match?

I'd guess if I did a poll now they'd be 90% of us that would see him as an important part of the team and an excellent player.

I'm surprised to read this. He's not perfect (who is) but I wouldn't want him to be dropped and nor would my OH and our City supporter mates. His passing range is a thing of absolute beauty.

Cullen pretty anonymous tonight v Denmark after doing quite well against Norway. Welsh fans on social media not too impressed with him and even less so with Burns’ sub appearance😬. Only goal of the match was down to a Danny Ward howler would you believe, gifting the Danes a penalty and a 1-0 win.🤪

Burns is concerning me, think he's going to be shown up as not suited to this type of football despite the drop down in level. He also isn't versatile enough to be a useful sub pick, it's going to be hard enough as it is to name 7 subs and leave as many as 6-7 out the entire matchday squad but players who don't play more than 1 type of role are in trouble here unless delivering for that reason.

Wrapping up the final international action involving our Foxes this week as three City players featured for their nations.
Louis Page was in action for England U19s against Belgium
Ilari Kangasniemi started Finland U21s’ 4-4 draw with Kosovo
Ryan Donnelly emerged as a substitute for Northern Ireland U21s

Louis Page was introduced as a substitute during England Under-19s’ 1-0 friendly loss at the hands of Belgium on Monday.
The Leicester City midfielder replaced Arsenal’s Ifeoluwa Ibrahim’s in the 58th minute of the contest, which saw the Red Devils snatch victory through Mohammed El Adfaoui’s stoppage-time goal at Marbella Football Center.
Ben Futcher’s young Lions had previously held a 100 per cent record across the September and October internationals, following victories over the Republic of Ireland, Norway and the USA.

Foxes defender Ilari Kangasniemi, meanwhile, played throughout Finland Under-21s’ thrilling 4-4 draw with Kosovo in UEFA EURO U21 qualifying on Tuesday which sees his side move into the play-offs.
Finland finished second in Group A, behind Spain, as a result of Onni Helen’s 90th minute equaliser at Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri, coming from behind four times in Pristina to ensure they lost just one of their 10 matches at this stage and keep alive hopes of reaching the finals in Albania and Serbia next year.

Elsewhere, Ryan Donnelly came off the bench late on but could not prevent Northern Ireland Under-21s falling to a 1-0 defeat at home to Greece in their final EURO qualifier.
The Academy prospect played the final minutes in Lurgan as the curtain came down on their qualification campaign with a narrowly reverse against the side that finished second, behind Group F winners Germany on goal difference alone.
Tommy Wright’s side were already assured of a third-place finish and Donnelly dropped to the bench for the visit of Greece, which was settled by Anestis Mythou’s header just after the half-hour mark at Mourneview Park.
