Lukeh Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 I just saw the highlights and it seemed pretty clear to me it was off side? What do you guys think! Good lad De vries anyway!!
Matt Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 Nope they put a line across it on MOTD and it was just onside.
syston_fox Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 who gives a flying fock Here here. It counted and thats all i care about!
Collymore Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 Was onside by half a yard. It was marginal, Onside cause the striker should get the BOTD
TornadoShaunUK Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 it was dead level on the replay. Even if it was - who cares? Credit for Mark De Vries for sticking it away anyway.. he did say in the interview he wasnt sure whether it is offside or not.. not for future, just net it anyway!
Foxes 2 da grave Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 we won didnt we who gives a fook i dont and it was clearly onside stop being a blind referee and be a fan we won and its the best win all season
Bert Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 who gives a flying fock Exactly - even though it wern't off if it was we're still through and have pulled off on of the shocks of the round!!
Lukeh Posted 8 January 2006 Author Posted 8 January 2006 All of you **** chill out, i was just wondering because the replay i saw showed otherwise well done city!!
Sparky Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 who gives a flying fock , i hope it was offside , unlucky yidos
frenchy_lcfc Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 I dont Care if it was Onside or Offside!! We scored and it counted!!! WOOHOOO!!
syston_fox Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 It was definately... A goal. Breaking news there!
City_4_Life Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 Did anybody think he was going to miss it I did
Libertine Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 Did anybody think he was going to miss itI did Yes. When he got the ball I stood up and whispered 'Please God....'. No whispering after that, just the obvious roars of absolute sodding ecstasy.
Ryan_not_Brian Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 it was onside, Mark Lawrenson made a prat of himself (yet again) by saying it wasn't - his colleagues showed that he was on after.. I jumped up and screamed at both the equaliser and the winner, didn't think I'd get that into the game but I did I thought Smith was excellent whenever he was on the ball (which wasn't that much), Hammond looked good, De Vries enthused and frustrated with equal measure, your right back looks superb, your left back OK but no match for pace v Lennon, Hammil atrocious, and I didn't really notice Joey Gudjonsen in the middle Hope you get Arsenal in the next round .. would love to see Smith against us..

Onj that note if we do draw Arse will he be able to play?? I think not.
