I enjoy many varieties of alcholic beverages, but lately, my poison of choice at the bar is scotch--particularly Dewar's White Label.

It's not top shelf but it's decent and it does the trick.

Living on this side of the Pacific has its advantages - I get to drink beer a lot. Canadian beer, that is. Alexander Keith's, Kookanee, Molson Canadian, Okanagan Spring, Wildcat, Old Style Pilsner, Labatt Blue, etc. etc.

But nothing compares to a good Red.

But re: Molson being owned by Americans--the Canadian breweries are struggling to compete... I'm pretty sure Labatt's is now owned by a Belgian brewery.

as far as larger goes, surely Carling must be at the bottom of the scale in terms of it's overall quality.

stella on the other hand has a bit more class to it, reasuringly expensive, and much more effective in the gettin pissed stakes

Used to be a big fan of JD until an incident of overendulgance put me off it for a bit, JD and coke is lovely.

Now its more Lager or Strongbow, then Double Vodka Redbulls, then Alcopops and possibly shots (Tequilia if i'm doing shots, Aftershock is shitty)
