Anish Posted 15 March 2006 Posted 15 March 2006 Alan Sugar tonight was fuming - I don't think he's ever been that angry in the boardroom before. Sure, the team well and truly ****ed up, but he went OTT. I also thought he was well harsh on Syed - "I am holding you 100% responsible" - they all screwed up big time but nobody helped Syed or Tuan when it came to making the decisions. It seemed like Alan wanted to pick on the people that made the tough decisions rather than people like Ansall, Paul and Sam who were doing the 'easy' bits rather than putting themselves in the firing line. That said, Alexa had to go. Awful management, no decisiveness and no control.
Stuliasz Posted 15 March 2006 Posted 15 March 2006 Big Al was spot on when he said they both should have gone. Syed does nothing when defending himself other than trying to tell Alan exactly what he wants to hear..."I always put in 100%", "I will learn", "I've had to fight the hard way all my life". Although it backfired when he said "I'm a winner"...and Al said "how are you a winner, you just bloody lost!?" Top notch tele.

TBH all of em were cack, the whole project was flawed from the beginning, too many of em just sat back and went along for the ride, unlike manny 's team where the girls were complaining that manny wasn't listening to them, the boys on the other hand did nothing!! Syed made a major cock up and Duad also, ALexa the poor girl had a bad team but she didn't have in her and rightfully got fired!! AS was fuming cus that team lost money and the manner in which they lost money was ridiculous, these guys are suppposed to be top people in there field wanting to be a top aprentice and to be honest they were a disgrace, forget AS being fuming, I think if they worked at Mr PAtels's corner shop, he would have been fuming and shot the lot of em!!!
Babylon Posted 16 March 2006 Posted 16 March 2006 Christ I could have done a better job than those bloody misfits last night!!! I mean did they really think they would sell a slice every nine seconds!!!! Plus all those chickens!!!! I don't even know anyone who has bloody chicken on a pizza!!!!

I mean did they really think they would sell a slice every nine seconds!!!! Plus all those chickens!!!! I don't even know anyone who has bloody chicken on a pizza!!!! I have chicken on pizza regularly, it's a common topping! I could not believe last night, it does make you wonder whether some of these gorms are deliberately put on the show to make it better viewing. The fact that they knew they had over ordered on the chicken and expensive cheese and did nothing about it baffles me. It's not as if the chicken was pre-cooked so some of it could have gone back and if they wouldn't accept it then i'd have re-sold it on somewhere else. They also made a massive mistake in deciding to make the pizza dough, surely the money saved on buying less than a hundred massive chickens could be used buying as many pizza bases as they needed. They could then sell the slices at a more reasonable price and if there was much left near the end they could then bollock them off for 50p a slice and not make such a horrific loss.
City Fan Posted 16 March 2006 Posted 16 March 2006 I have started watching this from last week onwards, bloody awesome program!

Collymore Posted 16 March 2006 Posted 16 March 2006 Sir Alan was on top form. When Sayed left the room and said "thanks sir Alan, thanks for the opportunity" Sir Alan’s blood pressure went off the scale "opportunity!!!???? CHEEKY BASTARD!!!" I also loved the "SHOWER COMEPLETE AND UTTER SHOWER, WHAT A SHOWER!!!"
Dr The Singh Posted 16 March 2006 Posted 16 March 2006 I know one person who has chicken on their pizza!! Don't Pizzahut do a Chicken supreme pizza and a Cajun Chicken Pizza????? It may no be as uncommon as you think!!!
Ric Flair Posted 16 March 2006 Posted 16 March 2006 Don't Pizzahut do a Chicken supreme pizza and a Cajun Chicken Pizza????? It may no be as uncommon as you think!!! Why on earth would chicken on a pizza be uncommon anyway? It's one of the most popular choices of meat and the majority of pizzas contain meat anyway. Perhaps it's just me!
Leicester Lass Posted 16 March 2006 Posted 16 March 2006 The sooner Jo is sacked the better, that woman does my nut in!
Knighton Matt Posted 17 March 2006 Author Posted 17 March 2006 Top notch telly indeed just can't get enough of this show! I can't wait to find out who in Sir Alan's eyes has "gone from anchor to wa**er!"
Nationwider Posted 17 March 2006 Posted 17 March 2006 I watched for the first time ever this week - just the last 15 minutes or so, when the losers got a bollocking from SAS. I felt a bit sorry for the lass who got fired. She was a wet lettuce, but no more incompetant than the rest of them. There were some Grade A jellyfish in there. If one of that shower can land a 100k job with SAS, I'm considering entering the next series. <_< Anyway, it seemed like good car-crash TV so I'll be tuning in again. I watched The Armstrongs after that. Now, they are muppets. Sort of like a real-life The Office.

Haha I'm looking forward to that bit too! Who's your money on? I'm thinking it could be Paul or Ansall - after all they haven't been Project Managers yet so it's gotta be their turns to 'anchor' soon.
Babylon Posted 18 March 2006 Posted 18 March 2006 Don't Pizzahut do a Chicken supreme pizza and a Cajun Chicken Pizza????? It may no be as uncommon as you think!!! I didn't say it was uncommon... I said I didn't know anyone who had it.

Good call mate I think my money would be on one of those two to win. They look the strongest so far although I remember around this time in the first series I thought the legend that was Paul Torrisi was going to run away with it so first impressions can be deceptive. Saying that I think one of those two must be the 'anchor'. My money is on Paul as he's been pretty steady so far but seems to have a rather immature streak in him which could get exposed under a bit of pressure. Amongst the girls I think the girl from Leeds is the only one that will trouble Sir Alan in the latter stages. How aggressive is that girl from Birmingham??

I agree about Paul Torrisi - he was a class act! He was definitely a cool character and thought Alan Sugar wanted an Apprentice to help sort the company out!! About Ansall or Paul - they've looked good so far in this series because they've not really took any responsibility yet. It's all well and good doing your stuff when you're only playing a team role, but it's completely different when you have to lead from the front. It'll be interesting to see how they perform when they're in the firing line as PM. Ruth from Brum gets on my nerves no end, she is such a whinger! Everything is a moan!

BADGER!! Keep her in. Alex Marsh-Badger, the Spunkrat with a Heart of Cold, has spoken.
Knighton Matt Posted 6 April 2006 Author Posted 6 April 2006 Another superb show last night and a contender for quote of the series from Paul... "Syed and his f**king skinny jeans!!!!" Samuel had to go he even knew himself that he was out his depth!
Anish Posted 6 April 2006 Posted 6 April 2006 Michelle made a huge mistake too and she could easily have gone. Overall in this series the standards have dropped markedly from the first series - every single candidate in this series has shown to have a number of flaws. They have demonstrated incompetence of the highest order, and some of the back-stabbing and bitching about each other is extremely childish (although good entertainment!). Syed and his "skinny jeans!" lol

Syed and his "skinny jeans!" lol Agreed I think in the last series any of Miriam, James Max, Paul Torrisi, Saira and Tim of course could have won it. This series however I'd say Paul and Ruth have been pretty exceptional so far and Ruth is far too aggressive and both love themselves too much. I think they've definitely gone for a more entertaining show this year!
City Fan Posted 6 April 2006 Posted 6 April 2006 I think the last 3 will be Paul, Ruth, and Ansell. How annoying is that Scottish cow Sharon? She hasn't got a clue about anything! And the way she shouts "Syyeeeeeeeed" just makes me cringe!
Katy Posted 6 April 2006 Posted 6 April 2006 Sharon is the biggest moaner out, she really needs a slap! Cheer up love bird flu has just entered your Country and she looks fecking weird
stez Posted 7 April 2006 Posted 7 April 2006 Sharon is the biggest moaner out, she really needs a slap! Cheer up love bird flu has just entered your Country and she looks fecking weird  she's gorgous michelle, paul and sayed will be in the final. ruth goes all childish in the boardroom, and the others do nothing
Ric Flair Posted 7 April 2006 Posted 7 April 2006 Paul is good, but I can't help thinking he's a fat man's James Beattie.
