newms Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 I watched him for the Hull game and he looked good. But honestly what can you gather from a warm up. Completely different being out there in the game
Manc_Fox Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 i remember trev used to shoot from the half-way when he finished his pre-match warm up, never managed to pull it off in a match tho
kevinwpratt Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 I saw Conrad play in some of the preseason friendlies, he is a good shot stopper, he doesnt flap at crosses and can kick better than Henderson..... The only thing he lacks is experience at this level but then there is only one way he will get that.....
Collymore Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 never forget when savage riffled a 60 yard volly into the top corner in a warm up once.

Milky Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 he did pick up a couple of man of the match awards during his loan spell, i think he deserves a chance at some point, perhaps next season in a cup game.
martyn Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 Joe Hamill looks a world beater in the pre-match warm up.
Royston. Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 I've been studying Henderson in the pre match warm up and he calmly controls the back passes from Stowell, looks up and finds Logan from about 50/60 yards. In the actual game, he stabs at the ball to bring it under control and cant get rid of it quickly enough.
longy Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 Conrad looks a good young keeper ... and agree with Roy about Hendo .. iv'e noticed he's alot better in the warm up ... then again who isn't ...
Bert Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 It all boils down to how well they handle the pressure IMO.
Cobbo Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 Logan's kicking is actually pretty great. Maybe that's in comparison to our other pair though but who knows..
Jimmy Posted 14 March 2006 Share Posted 14 March 2006 maybe after the reading game he may get a run in the side as we should be safe by then

If Henderson's kicks look so good in the warm up but are so bad in the actual game then who's to say that Conrad, who some people are saying looks fantastic in the warm up, won't be equally as poor when it comes to the real thing? Ric Flair Posted 15 March 2006 Share Posted 15 March 2006 Logan had a torrid time for the reserves last season, but has supposedly improved his game no end, as has O'Grady. Both have benefited from loan spells at lower league clubs and Logan might have the potential to be good enough for this level, he's an able understudy.
