He's a decent player in an otherwise mediocre to poor team. I've seen him in the last couple of African Cup of Nations, and he's been good against some poor opposition defenses. I doubt he will make much impression against the Spaniards or the Ukrainians though. The former will surely have identified him as Tunisias danger man, while Ukraine's collective defensive attitude should ensure that Santos doesn't get a lot of service. He may run riot against Saudi Arabia though!

He may run riot against Saudi Arabia though! Shevchenko has got a great chance to be top scorer without progressing too far in the knock-out stages. If he takes Tunisia and Saudi apart he could get 5 or 6 before the 2nd round. I might have a bet on him as top scorer and Torres from Spain.
