shez Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I was failry pesimistic preseason, but now after that shocking performance i just cant see how we are going to compete at this level...we look a very very below average team! anyone else agree
Bluefoxtim Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 People say 'it's only one game', but there was NOTHING not an ounce of anything to show that this will be a good season
SystonFox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I'm gutted!! me too mate, im so downbeat and bored now. its a lovely sunny day and i cant even be bothered for a kick about outside now as ive got no motivation after that
Bert Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Get all the negativity out of your system now chaps!! I so can't (not) wait for Bartonfox to come on.
Ricey Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I wasn't optimistic or that excited before today but I do have that sinking feeling
Poakey Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I'm gutted!! Very disapointing,i was really looking forward to this season but that performance has made me realise we are not as good as i thought we were.Fryatt looked very lightweight to me. Couldnt be more depressed, its ruined my weekend, just glad i didnt go.

Couldnt be more depressed, its ruined my weekend, just glad i didnt go. fryatt wasnt the only lightweight. stearman was very weak today, the defence were given the run-around for the entire game, especially their second goal...
l444ry Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Get all the negativity out of your system now chaps!! I so can't (not) wait for Bartonfox to come on. Trouble is, Bert, that too many on here have the judgement of a gnat. What happened today shouldn't really have surprised anyone.

Couldn't agree more - these are the same people who expect Rob Kelly to work with bugger all and still produce champagne football.
Babylon Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Trouble is, Bert, that too many on here have the judgement of a gnat. What happened today shouldn't really have surprised anyone. What summed up Leicester fans for me was at the beginning of the sky programme they asked some Leicester fan what he thought for this season "Automatic promotion" he wasn't even joking!!!!!
Gamesmaster Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I was failry pesimistic preseason, but now after that shocking performance i just cant see how we are going to compete at this level...we look a very very below average team! anyone else agree it was a pre season friendly testomonial celebrity charity match, thats why it was on tv. Yes, trully shocking performance.
Daggers Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Well, I think you lot should buck yourselves up a bit...it is only the first game of a long season. Afterall, Reading lost their first game last season...
Gamesmaster Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Disco Bob has a point, its a better start than last season....
Thracian Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I don't think I have ever heard such universal dissatisfaction. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said there would be some coming on to make excuses but that has not been the case and it is quite obvious that the huge majority of posters see similar problems with our side. With our season ticket situation it really is the worst start imaginable.
BartonFox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Get all the negativity out of your system now chaps!! I so can't (not) wait for Bartonfox to come on. Afternoon Bert If you think I am happy about that then you so wrong.

Gamesmaster Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 would that be our lowest ever league attendence at the wonder bowl?
Bert Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Afternoon Bert If you think I am happy about that then you so wrong. Oh no, i don't expect any Leicester fan to be happy. I just can't ATM be bothered with a long list of moans
Guest Gist Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 16,000 on Tuesday It wouldn't surprise me Burnley aren't likely to bring many down either.
SystonFox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 It wouldn't surprise me Burnley aren't likely to bring many down either. they did win 2-0 today though so that may give them a boost considering they are unbeaten at the walkers....
Stevosevic Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 It wouldn't surprise me Burnley aren't likely to bring many down either. will probably be more cos people are likely to have already bought their tickets before todays games.
