Nationwider Posted 8 August 2006 Posted 8 August 2006 I know there's nothing more boring than other peoples' kids, but.... Yesterday I became a Dad!!! Obviously something of a thrill seeker, NW Jnr decided to make his grand entrance by emergency caesarian. Thankfully, the whole of Team NW are doing just fine, although I've possibly lost a year or two from my life through stress. Should the little fella ever show an interest in footie, he's spoilt for choice between The Sleeping Giant aka Leicester City, or the finest that Teesside can offer. Poor beggar. Parenthood - bring it on! I hear it's an inexpensive hobby...
macbeth Posted 8 August 2006 Posted 8 August 2006 congratulations the rumours about you weren't true then i'm sure FTposters will help out if you are stuck for names
stez Posted 8 August 2006 Posted 8 August 2006 nice one 'shunny it's alway good to know you can successfully fill a pram. and you're right it is completely inexpensive and i think the best thing you can do is go and tell mrs NW that you should have another one starting now, she'll be thrilled!

Daggers Posted 8 August 2006 Posted 8 August 2006 Hey Hey ~ Congratulations! I look forward to witnessing a decline in wit and an increase in crabby posts as the sleepless nights take hold Sod them that don't like kids, it makes having them more fun when you know they annoy other people! Great timing too, means you won't have to miss the next couple of games waiting for the hospital run. Top banana
Nationwider Posted 8 August 2006 Author Posted 8 August 2006 Thanks everyone. This baby lark certainly takes the mind off certain football-related matters. Thankfully.
Steven Posted 8 August 2006 Posted 8 August 2006 Won't be buying the latest addition any tickets for a while. Congratulations.
golden gordon Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Thanks everyone. This baby lark certainly takes the mind off certain football-related matters. Thankfully. your wife's given birth to a baby "lark" that should get you up early of a morn
Nationwider Posted 9 August 2006 Author Posted 9 August 2006 Won't be buying the latest addition any tickets for a while. Congratulations. Not just yet. your wife's given birth to a baby "lark" that should get you up early of a morn You'd get on really well with Macbeth, I reckon.

Daggers Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Not just yet. You'd get on really well with Macbeth, I reckon. Peas from a pod I say
golden gordon Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Peas from a pod I say we're a couple of sugar snaps
Daggers Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 we're a couple of sugar snaps I think, once you start referring to yourself in the 1st person plural, you need to seek proper counseling...and I'm not talking about the Rorschach ink blot thread. MacBeth has flipped and we are only at the second match of the season.
