Milan Mandaric has targeted leicester!

Oh my... One paper says this, one paper the other... This is a farce and if the Mandaric bid should fall through (which I still hope won't happen), we can at least blame a majority of the damage on the so-called independent and well-informed press.

Whole load of nonsensical stories and theories being thrown about at the minute. This takeover fiasco has descended further into farce than most FoxesTalk threads (including this one). Nobody knows what is actually going on with it, and so the reporters are having an easy job in producing confounding stories to agitate people. We haven't been told the deal is off, so at present, there is no need to worry.

 and it has gone downhill since then :P Seriously though, I've been reading through the stories circulating on the internet about this takeover, and they are just trying to make drama out of this whole takeover saga:

Finding hidden debts meaning the takeover process slowed down. So what. Has Milan been put off? No. Is the takeover still on? Yes.

Milan is still emotionally attached to Portsmouth. Big whoop. He was there for a while, saved them from going out of business and established them as a Premiership side! It's a fooking good thing that he gets that involved and feels them emotions for the teams he's involved in FFS! Has this emotional attachment to Portsmouth put him off us? No it hasn't.

--------------------------------

No official statement from the club or Milans people means that a deal is still on the cards and that they are discussing/negotiating the finer details before Milan is handed the reigns and we can move forward.

That's what a few of us have been saying for a while.

Aye, maybe you have, but I haven't been around to see it so I wouldn't know ;)

This is an utter joke.

Even IF all paties concerned are acting in a proper manner the time is now to try and salvage something from this dire season.

It's already too late as more proactive clubs are lining up their transfer window moves and by the time anything does happen the chance to make positive steps, including a change of Manager, will be well and truly gone.

My God... I just realised why I stopped reading this thread...

No-one actually knows ANYTHING.

Until someone either says either way YES or NO, we're all best off forgetting about it...

That's silly I really don't think at this stage that results are going to sway his decision one way or the other..think its already decided

You come out with some crap don't you!

Milan IMO isn't to bothered about results too much at the moment, the reason he wants to buy the club is so the club could build with his money, at the moment his money isn't in the club so he's not too bothered about results atm, when/if his money goes in and we were losing thats when he'd be bothered, obviously Milan wants to see something to build on. Also look at October compared to December! I think Milans abit brighter than looking at current results

So who actualy still thinks that the deal will end up going through?

at this moment im not too sure! the more time that passes the less likely that i think it will go through sadly!!

Just a quick thought, dunno what to think of it myself tbh, but you know the story in the NOTW a few weeks ago saying Milan still owned 50% or something of pompey because gaydatwat(Current Pompey "owner") hadn't payed him of fully...Well maybe the NOTW were actually on to something...

Sorry if that link has already been discussed in the thread I don't really read to much of this thread on the last few posts every now and again...The thread bores me now.

Speaking to a relative yesterday who is very involved at the Tigers-

On top of Mandrics intention to by Leicester City he has toyed with the idea of buying the Tigers as well

( quoted the team manager? at the Tigers as saying " he thought he could get us on the cheap")

Intention of developing the Welford road site and ground sharing at the Walkers

Sky apparently have the last say on when games take place, Basically both clubs have to be available should Sky wish to broadcast the games, potentinally at the same time.

Should this happen and we were ground sharing, one of us would have to find an alternative site

Sounds like my Dads, sisters, brothers, milkman etc but it did come from within the club.........still possibly doesn't change our situation
