They say CO-VILL in Lufbra, some of the natives watch city when they play at UM ?

i was born in Belgrave, we always called it Bell Gruff.

lan has been sighted in Covill Asda buying leaving gifts....fact ...Hows dat looky?

That's exactly the kind of fluff I've come to expect of any topic relating to Milan Mandaric.

Thanks! :D

I suppose its something we can look forward too.

Just imagine if the whole Mandaric saga never got going? We'll be doing the usual and moaning about results and lack of money for transfers.

As long as the outcome is postive, I don't mind the wait.

I would like to point out ther eis no Asda in Co-vill.

There is however a Kwick Save and a Aldi, with a Mcdonalds close by, as well as a KFC.

This tells you all you need to know about the Co-Vill. Oh no it once has the highest transmision rate of Chlymeia per person in England at one point. I think that covers it.

EDIT: Nooo wait, I forgot. Thracian once applied to be manager of Co-vill Tarn as well.

Can't be arsed to do a poll on it cos I'm knackered and I'm going to bed but I think it could be a blessing in disguise if it goes through in February. No money for Kelly to waste. By the summer Mandaric has free reign to sack him if he wants to. Blah blah blah.

Goodnight.

<_<

Gotta love it when fans want a manager to fail in spectacular fashion.

PS: Don't we have enough topics about Mandaric, Kelly and Transfers individually without a new one encompassing all three at once?

:santa:

Edit: I see someone's gone and sneaked it into the Mandy thread now.

BAD NEWS.

The deal will fall through! Any day now we'll be told that MM has withdrawn his interest in taking over the club and that we're now screwed and see you all in League 1

Remember, this is Leicester City nothing good ever happens !

Just my opinion, going on what i've read

I'll assume your trying to jinx it in reverse, saying it wont happen... so it will!:thumbup:

Why make it sound like you have news then !

It's sad that people try to stir things up, when really no-one knows anything.

People should sit tight, and just wait to see what happens.

Either way, takeover or not, will not affect the way that Leicester fans support the club !

I hope your right there, but I can see some fans being very piddled off if this falls through. Having said that, I still think there aren't that many fans out there that realise how bad a job our board are doing. Some fans just aren't aware of what goes on, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing i'm not sure. But knowing what I know, i'd not trust this board with my money. They need to go.

Sorry Mr Bold,

I’m not trying to stir anything up here, it’s just my assessment of what has been happening over the last few weeks. Manadric said he wanted the deal done and sorted by 15th Dec and if I’m not mistaken I believe we have passed that date. With our dodgy accounts and hidden debt to our sh*t team and manager this has disaster written all over it. Milan will probably be feeling that his financial and legal team have wasted enough time already and any time now he’ll pull the plug on this shambolic football club. There just isn’t any reason why the takeover has been allowed to drag on for so long?

And if this were to happen I would certainly change the way I support the club by probably never going again until they sort out how the club is run and have a team that can compete on a weekly basis. I’ve put enough time and money into LCFC I demand a half decent team in return.

Why does no one understand that this is not a long takeover process. This is normal. Stop talking crap. If Mandaric walks away he will be starting from scratch again, therefore he will get a club quicker by being patient.

And one for dirt cheap. How many clubs of our stature get bought for just £5-6 million? Not many. He knows a good deal when he see's one.

Deliver now!

The revelation that Leicester City have been found to have bigger debts than was first thought suggests the Milan Mandaric deal could be the club's last chance. by bill anderson

City must not become the football equivalent of Farepak by not delivering the Christmas present the fans want - the new owner who can take the club forward.

That due diligence threw up unforeseen "legal and financial issues which merit further investigation", as Mandaric's advisors said in their statement, hints strongly that City need his money more than ever. And right now.

City chief executive Tim Davies assures me that the club is financially stable, but City admit the on-going absence of the parachute payments makes it increasingly difficult, and they have indeed worked hard to reduce the wage bill.

The big question must be, how long can the tight financial situation go on at a time when Mandaric's money is, at present, the only deal on offer?

It appears to everyone on the outside of this affair that City have been, at best, dragging their feet when it should have been simple. They are desperate for money and here is a man willing to give it to them.

On the face of it, City were all for it. Most of their shareholders - including the major and most influential ones like chairman Andrew Taylor and Davies, who are both declared supporters of the move - attended the extraordinary general meeting and unanimously gave the process the green light. But it has been such slow going ever since that the January transfer window might be missed.

If the wheels had been set in motion straight away, Mandaric could have been in place by now. Instead, there have been rumblings that the proposed takeover might go pear-shaped. More disturbing is the fact that the rumours are emanating from within the club.

Hopefully, when it comes to the crunch, the shareholders will follow the board's lead.

Mandaric should have been welcomed with open arms. Instead, he has been invited to only one game since expressing his interest, unfortunately the 4-1 home defeat by Sheffield Wednesday. And, to his credit, that was not enough to see him walk away right there and then!

Contrast that to Liverpool who, a few days after hearing of the interest from Dubai, had their representatives in their directors box at Anfield at the first opportunity.

But what is done is done, and the fact that Mandaric still wants the deal to happen after all that has gone on before, and after what was disclosed about City's financial hardship, speaks volumes for his commitment.

It is good news for all those like Taylor and Davies who want him on board.

Mandaric's commitment can also be measured by the near £500,000 he has already paid for the due diligence procedure. Mind you, that looks like money well spent.

Of course, it is now reasonably certain that his £25million bid will be shared out differently to what was initially proposed.

Any less money for shareholders, however, should be irrelevant as, after all, they all claim to be acting in the best interests of the club.

The alternative is that when the transfer window opens, players could be leaving instead of arriving - like young defender Richard Stearman, who has been linked with Aston Villa and Charlton.

This deal is not just a good move, it also looks like a lifeline.

500k spent already on DD according to this... then again it is from the Merc who still think the bid is £25m.

Easily the most stupid article he has ever written. lol

I wouldn't go quite that far, but it doesn't do Mandy any favours. If anything, it will harden the opinions of those shareholders obstructing the deal.

With friends like Billy, Mandy doesn't need me.. lol

There isn't a single point which has any merit or can be verified. To go back to the £25M is just the most absurd thing in the history of hack journalism.

Given that Mandaric has paid £500,000 for takeover process so far I'd say you should all chill your boots this Xmas, Xmas may come late this year but it will come.

some poeple can not understand why a good percentage of the fans want MM to take over.

in my opinion its not really about the cash.

the present board came from a consortium that saved the club  but since then they have not shown that they have the nouse to take the club forwards , in fact the opposite seems to be the case.

MM has just come from making a club in similar circumstances a success in the premier league.

whether he has tons of cash or not he does seem to be an accomplished businessman in regards to football and there is no reason why he could not make his formula for success work here.

he could of course fail but at present we are heading the way of forest unlike derby who took a gamble and may yet make promotion.

whether MM comes here or not this club needs a change in direction , one that is sadly lacking from the present board and i do not just mean a reshuffling of the deckchairs either.
