Manwell Pablo Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 I beg pardon.........Manwell, I rest my case Quality
Milan Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 I'd say so far they've done ok, although I do want Mandaric in asap. Thing is Adams left, Levein was highly rated and failed to deliver and Kelly, well I don't know. Atleast they can't be accused of messing about as it didn't take them long to get rid of Levein. In actual fact they got us promoted and tried to back Adams as much as possible, I also think that Tim Davies deserves a massive amount of credit for the way in which he dealt with the La Manga debacle. So before we go slagging the present board have a little think back. Don't misunderstand me, I want Mandaric in asap.

Don't misunderstand me, I want Mandaric in asap. we were promoted with the team , management team that was already in place , no extra money was spent. we went up and spent nada , la manga happened. we came down and tried to rebuild a squad out of old uns with a few bob and failed. foxes trust mentioned they wanted to get rid of the season ticket discount way back then and since have made season tickets superfluous , i wouldnt bother getting one now in this division the jo bucci affair. the walkers concerts fiasco. annual shirt jjb deal as for CL , they made a bit of a fiasco with that. sacking him when we were mired deep in relegation trouble and trawling the management waters with a hairnet . its just a good job kelly turned out to be an able manager for a relegation scrap. the consortium lead by liniker saved us but the present board arent much to talk about in a positive manner.

Fox in a Box Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 It'll turn up on BBC Leicester soon enough. and it did!
Jon the Hat Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Given that Mandaric has paid £500,000 for takeover process so far I'd say you should all chill your boots this Xmas, Xmas may come late this year but it will come. Ah yes. And the takeover bid is £25M???
Ric Flair Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Ah yes. And the takeover bid is £25M??? So in reality MM has probably shelled out £5000 so far on the Due Dilligance. Must be seething.
Fox in a Box Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 Due Diligence The process by which a purchaser of or an investor in a company or business investigates the records of the target to support its value and find out whether there are "skeletons in the cupboard". Professional reports from accountants and solicitors may be included. The due diligence process is covered by confidentiality undertakings and supported by warranties. whose skeletons in the cupboard?..... oh not I hope theres not another scandal just about to happen............ has anyone seen DEVRIES? Undergoing due diligence Once initial sale terms are agreed your buyer will review commercial aspects of your business - such as contracts, staff and key customers - to ensure the claims you have made about the business are accurate. This process is known as due diligence. Don't start due diligence until you've agreed a price and terms with the buyer. The investigation period is negotiable - but should last at least three weeks. The process can be speeded up if you and your staff are as co-operative as possible. Your buyer and their advisers will probably need to spend some time at your business' premises reviewing original documentation, but try to ensure as much work as possible is carried out off-site. The process must be controlled to guard against it being used as an excuse for renegotiating the deal. The due diligence process is likely to cover: * the business' past and forecast financial performance * accounts * valuation of property and other assets * legal and tax compliance * any outstanding legal action against the business * major customer contracts * intellectual property protection The final sale agreement As the due diligence process nears its conclusion you and your advisers should finalise the sale agreement. This will contain the exact details of the sale, much of which should have been outlined in the heads of terms. There will have been compromise on both sides to obtain a final document that is acceptable. But you should maintain a dialogue with all parties to ensure the final agreement is acceptable and contains no hidden surprises about your future liabilities.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 <_< Gotta love it when fans want a manager to fail in spectacular fashion. PS: Don't we have enough topics about Mandaric, Kelly and Transfers individually without a new one encompassing all three at once? Edit: I see someone's gone and sneaked it into the Mandy thread now. Where does it say I want him to fail?

Judging by recent media reports, not in THIS case.....
Phlashman Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 East midlands today said that there's been "deal braking" meetings today and this evening about the takeover. Hopefully this means they are pushing for a quick end to the situation. http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastmidlandstoday/index.shtml Top right corner watch the video, 14:30 in for about 20 seconds if anyone's interested.

Sounds like we've ended up with the "sleaves rolled up, ordering a curry and pulling an all-nighter" method of settling this bloody thing... note to board/shareholders, you fook this up and i and most other city fans will never forgive you!... if this is getting sorted tonight, I get the sense i wont sleep easy, knowing the fate of LCFC is in the hands of the same idiots who've run us into the ground for the last four years

Thanks. For those who can't watch it, the report says: "First the latest on the Leicester City takeover. We understand tonight a series of deal breaking meetings have been held throughout today between businessman Milan Mandaric and representatives from the club. The takeover is now thought to be on a knife edge because Mr Mandaric's advisors say hidden debts have surfaced. Discussions are ongoing as we speak, we'll have more on this story tomorrow."

ithuriel Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 Christ. They've uncovered Ian Marshall's tab at the player's bar. Six pints of mild every half-time soon mounts up... i think it was the twelve shots of whiskey , ten shots of rum and fourteen vodkas before the games that have sunk us , it explains why no one could mark him in games because if he didnt know where he was going then know one else could . i can see the news reports now , city sunk by drink debts

There are a majority of our fans that will only know what's published in the papers and on the news and probably haven't heard the finer details of what's been going on. They probably aren't aware our board are a bunch of numpties and they probably think they're doing a good job 'because they are real Lestoh folk'. If this does fall through, there will be a small section of fans that must make it their perogative to raise awareness as to what's really gone on. Let's hope it goes through because my fear is that the really pissed off fans will be a minority and i'll struggle to continue to watch a team with fans that I can't agree with their morals.
ithuriel Posted 21 December 2006 Posted 21 December 2006 just been veiwing the foxfanzine message boards and the poor old trust have been shown up again

Could you let me know what exactly has gone on then Ric? As far as i'm aware nobody actually knows what has gone on. Sure there have been rumours of shareholders trying to put a spanner in the works, but that's all they are rumours. Just playing devils advocate here.
