Has Battle LA got all the fast and shaky camera action like Cloverfield?

I want to see if it's any good but I canna stand all that fast shaky camera stuff! Same as all them new films that have different frames flashing every 0.05 seconds for about 10 seconds every 5 minutes - they just hurt my eyes and piss me off!

yeah, loads of shaky camera, but quite a good film if you can put up with it!

Watched Once Upon a Time in The West the other night. 20th best film ever, according to IMDB. Not for me. Although Claudia Cardinale...oh.my.god. She's up there with Grace Kelly for me.

Seconded. Superb cinematography in that film and Morricone's score is fantastic (as always!)

Ha ha. Thanks. I agree the cinematography and music are world-class. The acting/story-line/dubbing are average/poor imo (for the 20th best film ever anyway). and Mikey, put up a proper photo of her!

I'm gonna give it a watch but am disappointed about the shaky camera!

I watched that Magicians film the other day that you recommended. Thought it was pretty decent and funny. There's loads of faces from different british sitcoms and some of them are very good actors. That guy who plays the drummer in Phoenix Nights, when he's trying to pull some bird in a bar - "Want to suck my wand?....Suck my wand?.....It's magic!"

Got this for later or maybe tomorrow. Swedish film with subs but is supposed to be funny.

Pretty much the only Western I've ever seen, didn't realise it was so highly regarded. Did enjoy it though.

Saw limitless earlier, decent film.

A little predictable at times and the way it all works out is a little cheesy but very much something I would reccommend.

Try Dances With Wolves, Appaloosa, Open Range, Wyatt Earp, Tombstone and both Young Guns films. All really great. (Young Guns movies are a tad historically inaccurate though).
