syston_fox Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 Do folks think that it's time the Birch was given the push? (at least from half-time duties) His routine is becoming a little dated.. I liked him when he was just on the pitch having a laugh with people while taking penalties and stuff but since this "Fox Lot Half Time Show" has started he's just getting boring. The same jokes about how he's off to the changing rooms with the girls etc.... I like the guy but this whole Fox Lot thing is just getting embarrassing. Read out the names of the winners and then just move on to something else!
john_lcfc Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 As i walked from the club shop to L1 entrance about 10 fox lot girls were like join fox lot i was like fock off... it was getting irritating, especially seeing how they flirted so many people into joining :errm:

securedfox Posted 28 August 2006 Posted 28 August 2006 but i wont pay £2 a week to be flirted with. £2 quid a week's cheap to be flirted with. I flirted with our lass and i'm still paying the price And it's a lot more than a couple of quid Seriously though i don't mind people coming up with idea's for getting cash, but when it means pestering folk, then they can bugger off
The Stig Posted 28 August 2006 Posted 28 August 2006 can someone give me a brief description of it as i havn't been all year as im away most weekends
Loake Posted 28 August 2006 Posted 28 August 2006 I really fancied E. The first N was quite fit too. And one of the others, perhaps the L? Can't remember. i liked I and E
JoeyB Posted 28 August 2006 Posted 28 August 2006 the last 4 blondes were the best tho tbh the best bit ive seen this season was before thematch against maccesfield and hume knocked filberts head off that made me laugh then also when the phsyio dropped his bag top (same game) they were both very funny
Jonbluefox9 Posted 28 August 2006 Posted 28 August 2006 The Foxlot idea is really starting to get on my nerves now. Wasn't it setup to raise funds for the Academy to begin with?! I think it just goes to show how hard up we are, no matter what the club try to say about us being ok. The sad thing is that the first thing the club are looking to cut back on is health and safety including saving money on policing bills and scrapping St Johns and making stewards treat fans instead (soon enough). I know we all want the best for our club but health and safety should be the last thing to be sacrificed in my opinion.

Well they seem to have sufficient to afford 6/7 giant plants outside the front entrance, how non-essential is that? Now that REALLY does annoy me!
Katy Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 The Birch terrified me at half time, we were in D block and so was he and he just came too near. He doesnt need a microphone that one
Floating Fox Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 the music before the game is awfull. "let me entertain you" fock off robbie, hes no way related to leicester and is an awfull song, doesnt get me into a footballing mood. and that other song they played was far too loud "r u ready for this" or something. scrap it and play decent, recent tunes. either that or get someone to record when ur smiling, or just use the advert version. Haha I didnt think FilbertWay would StandUp for himslef as he seem's to be the one and only person who likes the songs that they play before a game. Just one thing, What do you suggest the club should do, what does everyone want them to do, Instead of just saying "Sort it Out" why dont you put forward some idea's etc
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 The only entertaining thing the Foxlot girls have done all season is get soaked by the pitch sprinklers at the Burnley game, hilarious stuff.
The Don Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 TBH I don't really care what is going on at half time, or before a game for that matter. I go to the game to watch the football. At halftime I like to have a beer, have a pie, have a fag and talk to my mates in the concourse about the football and maybe see some half time scores. I get to the game about 2 minutes before kick off, hear the team then watch the football, if people are more interested in the half time and pre match entertainment, you'd be better off at the circus!! I'm there for the footie and nothing else!!!

lcfc_jme Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 Normally I wouldn't give a poo, but I've began to take my kids and keeping them interested is whole different kettle of fish!!!!! They could start by getting rid of the rubbish American-style pre-match music, getting Filbert to mess about with the kids at half-time (as he used to once upon a day) and by getting Birch to either do penalties as he previously used to or sit down somewhere without a microphone
The Don Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 Normally I wouldn't give a poo, but I've began to take my kids and keeping them interested is whole different kettle of fish!!!!! I understand how that must be difficult, I used to just read the program when I was a kid. I can honestly say, I don't think I'll be taking my kid until he won't get uninterested during the game and half time. To be fair, all kids I've seen at the footie, have been very well behaved. I still don't like seeing them in the Kop though.

LCFC_jme, I have emailed peter jones and tim davies regarding Filbert Foxes lack of appearance, still no response as yet!!!

There won't be a response for a while imo, I don't think PJ or TD respond instantly to everything they recieve, as they would never have time to do anything else!! I think people from this site have been in contact with TD numerous times, unsure if they had a response though. Ask around to see whether you'll get a response from him in the near future. No point in having a mascot though if he isn't going to appear very often or play around with the younger children inside the ground.
Swedging Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 To be fair, all kids I've seen at the footie, have been very well behaved. You obviously sit nowhere near me and my half-trained animals... Maybe if their half time entertainment was more than watching me and my mate sup our pints, they'd be better.
ROSSINDA Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 I think the half time entertainment is class porbably best part of the game, can't beat havin a nice balti pie a pint and a fag. well said Teeno apart from the Fag bit for me
Head Honcho Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 admit it how shitte is our half time entertainment. it is shocking and a laughing stock. sort it out ....... What do you want to see? How about a Gladiatorial extravaganva with a couple of ex Forest players pitting their wits against a few Lions!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 What do you want to see? How about a Gladiatorial extravaganva with a couple of ex Forest players pitting their wits against a few Lions! Can Rogers and Chettle go first?

Tim has actually been pretty quick on a lot of emails, always found it a bit worry TBH... Should be doing his job not replying to fans.
