Fleckney Fox Posted 27 August 2006 Author Posted 27 August 2006 not as bad as that shit they play right up until kick off, as the guy i stood next to said "ho to kill an atmosphere stonedead..." thats my point, they should be getting us into a frenzy, instead it pisses me of with the same old droll game after game after game etc etc..
syston_fox Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 admit it how shitte is our half time entertainment. Entertainment The act of entertaining. The art or field of entertaining. Something that amuses, pleases, or diverts, especially a performance or show.
Swedging Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 admit it how shitte is our half time entertainment. it is shocking and a laughing stock. sort it out ....... Nah. Make it worse to punish those who don't do their duty at the bar.
SystonFox Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 the music before the game is awfull. "let me entertain you" fock off robbie, hes no way related to leicester and is an awfull song, doesnt get me into a footballing mood. and that other song they played was far too loud "r u ready for this" or something. scrap it and play decent, recent tunes. either that or get someone to record when ur smiling, or just use the advert version.

Reminds me of the NFL or a Basketball game tbh, no way is that a footy song and it shouldn't be played in our ground
davieG Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 Well I for one don't attend matches for the pre-match music or the half-time entertainment, I used to get there early to join in with the build up by the fans but that doesn't happen now. So for me all I need is a decent version of the post horn gallop when the teams come out, after that I'd be happy if the never played another piece of music.
ithuriel Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 just sillyness really. you have a pinyata made up like say peter taylor. you then pick at random some poeple from the crowd who are blinfolded of course and have turns at beating the crap out of it. the one who breaks it wins say a couple hundred quid and some sweets.
lcfc_jme Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 sounds a lot more fun than the nonsense they have on atm.. Guess I'd be more happy to stand and watch people make an arse out of themselves than endure the shi.t we put up with currently
Matt Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 I know I may be living in the past but I love "Let Me Entertain You" and "Republica - Ready to Go" reminds me of the good ol' days, I think they should add "Sandstorm - Darude" and a Kasabian track "LSF" or "Club Foot" and it'd be quite good, but as davie said do you really go to a football match for the pre-match music or halftime entertainment? But if were gonna complain about pre-match music i'll agree with most saying the "Are u ready 4 this" shit track right up to kick off is shite, They did it last season a few times and its tooo americanised, really corny and just isn't right.
Teeno Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 I think the half time entertainment is class porbably best part of the game, can't beat havin a nice balti pie a pint and a fag.
lcfc_jme Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 So nothing to do with what goes on inside the stadium and on the pitch at halftime then??
Swedging Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 I know I may be living in the past but I love ... "Republica - Ready to Go" Me too. That just sounds like a proper footie anthem. 25 years ago, played at the volume and clarity you get at the Walkers, together with the crowd mostly in place well before kick-off that you got then, I reckon that would have served as an invitation for mayhem.
Dr The Singh Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 Half time is pants and even more pants for kids!!!!
Bert Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 I go into the concourse at ht so i don't have to endure this.
lcfc_jme Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 Half time is pants and even more pants for kids!!!! Your kids moaning at you during half time then mate?
Bluefoxtim Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 yeah its crap. Birch walking round making 'funny' jokes "get me leg over" (going into the stands) im sure he uses that one every week. It's just boring, nothing fun!
Ultra Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 Do folks think that it's time the Birch was given the push? (at least from half-time duties) His routine is becoming a little dated..
Dr The Singh Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 Your kids moaning at you during half time then mate? Not moaning but they weren't impressed with birch's rant and whats the use of having a mascot(filbert fox) that hangs around the bloody technical area and never bothers to entertain the kids in the family section!! Tim Davies will be recieving a very harsh email from my little terrors!!! Bu to be honest, there's little choice between birch's stuff and the beer (cat piss) they serve at the ground. The beer wins by a whisker!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 August 2006 Posted 27 August 2006 I really fancied E. The first N was quite fit too. And one of the others, perhaps the L? Can't remember.
