Mark Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 You have to be kidding me. Unfortunately not, and just heard on Radio Leicester that Weso and Porter haven't recovered from a bug thats been going round. That midfield is vile.
City_4_Life Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Logan Kenton McCarthy McAuley Johansson Low Johnson Hughes Tiatto Hume O'Grady Subs are Hammond, Porter, Williams, Stearman, Henderson Oh well, You win some and you lose some.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Fair enough not having a go at Kelly if Porter and Weso have been hit by the bug, we're obviously short of options but that has to be one of the worst midfields we've put out for years.
Thracian Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 What a kop out. Return of the Chosen Men!.
Thracian Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Unfortunately not, and just heard on Radio Leicester that Weso and Porter haven't recovered from a bug thats been going round. That midfield is vile. And afterwards the strikers will be hammered for not taking their endless stream of chances!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 I'd ****ing go home if I was Iain Hume now. What a waste of time.
Mort Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 And afterwards the strikers will be hammered for not taking their endless stream of chances! Probably... then we'll go sign Asaba becuase our strike force needs some "experiance" ...and because we "simply cant find the cash" to sign anyone decent like Stoke can
MC Prussian Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Bloody hell......... Not quite, armaggeddon's first in the queue...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 This is your midfield Kelly. You signed two of them and re-signed another. Regardless of how much money you've had to spend on wages, these are the players you chose to spend it on and this is what you will be judged on.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Is that from an Orange advert? The Matrix
Thracian Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Kelly's tried to be kind about it but he's opted for dourness and gone for experience and what he hopes will be a point. He never even thinks of mending the midfield and getting some support for the forwards. Basically he's suggesting Birmingham's no place for the kids but you could argue it's just a great big vote of no confidence in them really. My own vote of no confidence goes to the midfield. Ironically, Kelly's complaining we've been hard to beat but not done much to win the game. Pity he doesn't pick the supporting players to win the game.
Janx Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 that midfiled!! another nail in the Kelly coffin for me! ( just as an aside) COME ON YOOO BLOOOOOS!!

As was mentioned earlier, he appears to be restricted in his options. With regards to immediate signings, I'm sure Johnson would have been replaced if Weso were available. Low still has to give RK a reason to move him, and one poor match last week isn't enough IMHO.

You can't really blame him for not picking the kids if Porter and Weso aren't fully fit.
lookwhaticando Posted 30 September 2006 Author Posted 30 September 2006 You can't really blame him for not picking the kids if Porter and Weso aren't fully fit. Indeed... ... though it must be said, a Weso who can't go five minutes without puking on the pitch is worth a hell of a lot more than a fully fit Johnson and Hughes put together.
Craig Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 The most uninspiring team and commentary i think i've ever had the mispleasure of spending an afternoon with.
Janx Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 WTF!!! Its like listeing to a bloke on the phone in a pub bog!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Is this really what our lives have come to? Shall we just all go for a walk instead?
Thracian Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 You can't really blame him for not picking the kids if Porter and Weso aren't fully fit. Weso's obviously ill but if Porter's supposed to be ill as well, what's he doing there? Desperation? I don't think so. He'spicked no attacking full-backs, no attacking midfielders apart from Low and if we concede an early goal and have to look for an equaliser we'll get pulverised.
