lookwhaticando Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 From what everyone seems to say tonight, there's no clear cut MOTM everyone agrees on. So let's vote on it instead, see who is the official FoxesTalk Man of the Match. All players who played a part (14 players total) have been listed. So get voting.
OzFox311 Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Mine goes to Paddy K... great game, defended really well, scored a goal and just was always there throughout and giving his all... a solid performance as well from Maybury and Henderson did a fine job against a much more skilled opposition in goals. But for mine, its Paddy K for MOM....
lildave3 Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Nisse, played brilliantly against the pace of Agbonlahor.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 How on earth had no-one voted for Wesolowski before me?!?!?!
SydneyFC Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Hendo saved us until Agbonlawhore got us right at the end.
andyh1884 Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I thought Stearman played exceptionally well. Considering he's not a central midfielder, thought it was one of the most commanding displays from a central midfielder all season. Linked up really well with Wesolowski and got in some really good tackles early on on Agbonlahor & throughout. His distribution was excellent as well.
Cheese Me Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Didn't see the game but listened. Hendo made a couple of good saves and saved a penalty. Can't look much further than that for MOtM. A bit of a selection problem for Saturday though as I wouldn't like to see Logan dropped at this stage.
Bluefoxtim Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 No one else voted for LOW? Shame on you. Brightest star in the sky
Daggers Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I thought of voting for Josh...but you have to go for Hendo for that save don't you?
dandannieldanok Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Got to be Nils, he was quality Agreed, I feared for him before the game but his tackling was quality. Whats even better was that he coped excellently without any protection when some lanky, bald tit came on.
Leicester Lass Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Agreed, I feared for him before the game but his tackling was quality. Whats even better was that he coped excellently without any protection when some lanky, bald tit came on. Maybe he just wanted to put himself in the shop window for a Premiership club to come and buy him??
Ric Flair Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I'm finding it hard to pick one. I can't decide between Nisse and Wesolowski. Then there's Henderson, Kisnorbo and Stearman! And HUME!!!! Gone with Weso, just because he's possibly the best player we've had since Collymore.
Phube Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 It's a tie between Nils and Hendo... Both played out of their skins last night!!!
holly Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 i found it hard! but i went for stearman he was awesome he has had a bad start to the season and he did a fab job tonight! my other 2 contenders were weso and nils both awesome! best game nils has ever played for us me thinks
Fox in a Box Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I'm finding it hard to pick one. I can't decide between Nisse and Wesolowski. Then there's Henderson, Kisnorbo and Stearman! And HUME!!!! Gone with Weso, just because he's possibly the best player we've had since Collymore. I'm agreeing there, Nisse was awesome, but James Wesolowski was the best performer last night, he just edged it, and Henderson obvoiusly want the jersey back.
Durnerz Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Kisnorbo for me, immense performance plus a goal. Nils ran him very close though.
C-man Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I went for Weso, although it could have been any from Hendo, Nisse, Paddy K, or Stearman
Thracian Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Henderson. There wouldn't have been extra time but for him. Such a pity his efforts brought no reward.
Trumpet Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Hendo made some great saves, aswell as the penalty. Just saw the winner on SSN.. couldnt prevent it, got deflected on the way through.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Don't think its fair to single anyone out! Fantastic effort from everyone! Lets take at least 7 points from the next 3 games and we are rockin' and rollin'! I have even agreed with some things Thracian has said in the last couple of days! Bizarre!
Daggers Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 I have even agreed with some things Thracian has said in the last couple of days! Bizarre! That's what being pissed does for you, sober up and see the change
