Smudge Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 The Democrats need 6 seats to take the Senate and 15 to take the House. Right now we have a Republican White House, Senate and House. Since these folks really do effect your life how would you vote?
Daggers Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 It's a no-brainer...to use South Park parlance: The Republicans are a bunch of donkey raping shit-eaters.
lookwhaticando Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 I'd vote republican if it wasn't for their crazy ultra-religious streak and their idiotic fiscal policies (and the republicans are supposedly the ones who believe in small government). So don't know for me, the Democrats are on a very lefty streak at the minute - so effectively your choice is a theocratic Republican gov't or a very socialist one.
lcfcalan Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 The millions of dollars used in 'buying ' votes in the States does make the elections over there seem a little bit less than democratic dontcha think ?
Lemon Harpic Posted 6 November 2006 Posted 6 November 2006 It's a no-brainer...to use South Park parlance: The Republicans are a bunch of donkey raping shit-eaters. Let's get out and vote! Let's make our voices heard! We've been given the right to choose between a douche and a turd. It's democracy in action! Put your freedom to the test. A big fat turd or a stupid douche. Which do you like best?

Jordan Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 My 2006 selections for all elections in which I am eligible to vote.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 I'd go Green... both US parties are too far to the right. Loved Clinton though You guys need a preferential voting system, it kicks arse. You can vote Green, but since that doesn't mean crap your second preference gets the vote, namely Dem. So you don't get the Florida situation.
Rincewind Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 don't understand their system. Republicans are too far right if Bush is one. They want to rule the world. The Democrats have the name but don't know if the act in a democratic manner and copy the others. Both lots want world domination and put money first. I don't even know who the candidates are.
Master Fox Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 It's a no-brainer...to use South Park parlance: The Republicans are a bunch of donkey raping shit-eaters. That just about sums them up
MC Prussian Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 I'd vote for a valuable third party, if there only was one. Democrat or Republican? It's always the same story...
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 I dunno, not herd either of their policies. All I've herd is them slag each other off, as I understand it that is American politics, one big slagging match. The winner being the person who can fix the votes effiecently.
Finnegan Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 So don't know for me, the Democrats are on a very lefty streak at the minute - so effectively your choice is a theocratic Republican gov't or a very socialist one. ... so?
Jordan Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 So don't know for me, the Democrats are on a very lefty streak at the minute - so effectively your choice is a theocratic Republican gov't or a very socialist one. Hardly.

It's a media circus, whoever looks 'better' on the box usually wins!!! Policies usually come second, it's dog eat dog politics!!
