On December 1, 2006 news reports broke that Wallwork was stabbed 7 times in the Sugar Lounge night club in Manchester. He was stabbed in the hand, back and stomach. After being rushed to hospital Wallwork's condition is said to be stable and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Police are investigating the stabbing, which they describe as "not random".

Wallwork is a thug himself though. hes been in a vast amount of trouble himself, including assaulting a referee when out on loan in Belgium, receiving a life ban but was reduced to a three year ban from football in Belgium. i think there is more to this story.

Although the people that did that must be walking picnics without sandwiches, I agree...there's something that doesn't sit right with me.

I don't understand how WBA's player of the season can be encouraged out of the door the following season? The man carries stories.

Me and Mrs Durnerz went to the Sugar Lounge when we were in Manchester for the England vs Macedonia game. Its overpriced, musics alright but apparently Wallwork was attacked outside, co-incidentally where there were loads of drunk scousers when we went, probably recognised him as ex-Man utd or something.

It's in a nice area of Manchester. I've been in Sugar Lounge the past two Mondays before we went to a club and although it was empty, you could see the area being very busy at the weekends. Horrible news though, poor guy

apparently he was stabbed by his new girlfriends EX, while she went to the toilet before leaving this guy came from nowhere and he was stabbed in the back and fell onto a couch raising his hands to defend himself but got stabbed in the hands.
