Im not suggesting that Obefemi Martins is a world beater but at the age of 22 he has had 4 years at Inter scoring 27 goals in 83 league games and 11 in 13 International appearances and cost £10m. I know where I`d rather spend £10m and its not on Young! Still, as discussed in the Watford thread, that's a very good deal for the Hornets. I don't know if they're short on cash (or even in debts), but this chunk of money is a good bet to place on the bank for consolidation and future investments. They're not going to make it in the Prem, so why not giving it a better shot next season?

They'll get £26 million, plus the £10 million they've received from Villa for Young. That's £36 million for them to overhaul their side either right now or in the summer if they get relegated. It doesn't bare thinking about for us championship clubs without a pot to piss in. Plus they'll get about another £10 million for the next two seasons after next if they somehow don't get promoted next season. Frightening.
