Foxestalk - best footie forum?

I've recently been looking over other clubs forums as I have too much free time, and have to say without being too biased there are not many better forums thans ours! we also have loads of members compared to loads of other teams

The layout of ours is easy compared to other clubs and with over 3,000 members not many clubs come close to that. Just went on Derbys and their board statistic read online 5...and they call it a forum!

My few hours looking at the competition has made me think of 3 things

1) Leicester fans have wayyyyyy too much free time on computers

2) our forum is just plainly the best!

3) we really are a huge club with thousands of supporters nation/world wide.

don't worry I'm back at college tomorrow <_<

This is definately better than the Caerdydd OS forum. I recently joined a Liverpool board to ask up on Bellers, like, and that was pretty massive tbh. But a bit too massive for my tastes.

This is the only forum i go on on t'internet, form all the sports forums I've seen this is the best!

No doubt from what I've seen ours is best in the championship

Nobody can compete with Liverpool, Man u and Newcastles though theres constantly 200 members at least online all day

Ours is without a doubt better than any in the Championship. Probably better than many Premiership ones. Though Liverpool, United, Arsenal etc will always have more online than us methinks.

I would say that yes... for football chat, FoxesTalk is the best! Then again I could be biased cause I'm a City fan! :P

i went on the bristol city fans site to see if there was any news about gradel (there wasn't). i have to say that their site , apart from the colouring was extremely similar to ours.

ps this is better than talking balls.

i go on the hereford united forum, a newly started nationwide forum for all fans and now this forum.

i am new and learning whats, what on here and i believe its the best i go on.

its very simular to the hereford one but on here there are many more members online and the quality of main football related chat is better.

I think it's fantastic. I was a long-time regular on Fox Fanzine before I migrated over here - that was a really good site when I was on it but can't comment on it now as I very rarely look at it. It seems to be full of Cov trolls which is a shame but the Rivals aspect of the site invites it and let's face it, although the Rivals idea is a good one in theory, in practice it's just a vehicle for braindead cyberwarriors to go around abusing each other.

I'm glad we don't get many opposition fans on here, simply because it invariably and inevitably seems to turn into a slanging match.

Also been on the Betfair football forum in the past - again some extremely knowledgeable people on there but a load of dross as well. This place seems to have a bit of a reputation for being full of kids as if that's a bad thing - for my money this is the most welcoming forum for kids I've seen and I like the fact they can have their say. I was 15 when I started using Fox Fanzine and would have loved something like this at that time.

I wish there wasn't a rivalry between ourselves, Fox and TB but again that's inevitable I guess. At the end of the day though we're all passionate Leicester fans who just want to get stuff off our chest.

I don't think there's much doubt that this is the most impressive Leicester site in terms of layout and ease of use. It may not to be some people's tastes if they prefer a more basic look but it's darn impressive visually in my opinion.

A big up to Mark and the admin.

Best by a long shot, not just in format or size but the quality of posters on here is excellent compared to other boards and I'm including other sports here as well not just other footy clubs, you should see some of the sh*te written on BBC rugby boards - well done us.

I agree that this site is very well organized and constructed..........well done Mark.

However, what makes it almost habit forming are the great people found on here. We seem to be fairly tolerant of each other despite age, gender or ethinicity. As the self elected spokesman for the old and greedy, I thank you.

I can't see how a forum could be any better really. Well organised, good members and lots of them.

Well done to the people who sort it all out.

The LCFC OS used to be extremely good until the technical limitations of the site itself became too much to bear.

When I first came on here, I didn't feel very welcome at all, but then again, I tend to come across as being pretty brash or black/white so I probably rattled a few established cages. I agree though, this is a great community and a great place to talk about football.

I used to like the OS, and this was seen very much as 'The Dark Side', but I never go onto the OS forum anymore.... I wonder if Beaumont Fox is still on there, and why she isn't on here? (Or is she??)

She is on TalkingBalls and I think she still does go on the OS from time to time though perhaps not as much as previously. ;)

What was your username on the OS?

I 'was' James.

This is the biggest FOXES forum by a distance, and not a bad way to while away a couple of hours.

In terms of size, though, we still have some way to go before we reach the size of the Leeds or Southampton message boards. Last time I looked, they had something like 8000 members each... :o
