LCFCIMPS Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Well Done Macclesfield for scorerin against Chelsea come on the underdogs
Foxhateram Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Damn Macclesfield had equalized, now its 2-1 chelsea. crap!!!! ffs fryatt
mancunianfox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 How have we not scored yet? We're all over them. Only Ian Pearce seems to be doing anything for them.
The People's Hero Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Personally I think RK's not up to the job. Is it any wonder that our best performances last year came in two cup games against Prem sides (Spurs and Villa). The players won't play for RK week in week out; he cant motivate them, but you can be damn sure they'll be up for it against a Prem team. RK has NOTHING to do with it. Absolutely spot on. Any pride, passion or enterprise about LCFC at the moment is despite RK and not because of him.
samcobblin Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 this is the 1st game this season i've missed, money being tight after x-mas and all that and i'd forgotten how annoying barber is gets excited about a throw in on the half way line. knock him out gerry!
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Sounds like a really good game so far. Pity Fryatt couldn't put it in, but we're still doing great. Come on City!
Wycombe Fox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Fryatt misses from 3 yards out??? Bring on DC. Fryatt couldn't score in a whorehouse at the minute (cue a second-half Fryatt hat-trick!!)
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 "Leicester are lucky not to be in front." (Jon Barber)
Mort Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 The only thing i'm decided about is RK is better than Iain Dowie, Dowie can hardly speak properly. Dowie is streets ahead of RK, as to be honest are most managers in the Championship and Prem... its a case of weather Dowie'd be a good manager for city and in the short to medium term i think he might.

Leicfox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 So whats the general view at HT, i think were playing well enough.

I wish I had confidence in that but I just can't see it working. Dowie looks almost certain to be coming in but the way his managerial career has gone so far I can't see what he has technically to offer the club.
Foxhateram Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 So whats the general view at HT, i think were playing well enough. im loving it!!! its exciting were finding space, were defending ok, but hume is running himself ragged by coming back again!!! and fryatt just cant score atm, bring on dodds!
MC Prussian Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 As for the first half, I'm really content with the way the team's performing. Solid all over the place, with a few glitches in defence. Porter's running his shoes off, Williams good at distributing passes and guiding the attack. Only downside is the way our strikers take their chances. Too many misses so far. Hume's too nervous and Fryatt given away at least two very good occasions. And if it wasn't for Pearce, we'd have already scored two.
Simon Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Absolutely spot on. Any pride, passion or enterprise about LCFC at the moment is despite RK and not because of him. I wish I was wrong. But the sooner RK leaves the better. On a completely unrelated matter; am really enjoying the RL commentary today. Jon Sinclair and Gerry Taggert make a much better team than Barber and Gibbo!
Mort Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 I wish I had confidence in that but I just can't see it working. Dowie looks almost certain to be coming in but the way his managerial career has gone so far I can't see what he has technically to offer the club. In terms of tactical understanding and preparing his teams i rate him as a manager, where I'm not so sure is on the players he brings in (then again maybe my impression's been marred by his performance at Charlton) and his man managment... then again on the Charlton side of things its important to remember how hard it can be for a new manager comming into a club which has just seen a long standing manager leave (the same will happen with Crewe and ManU, the new manager will (at least initally) struggle IMHO).
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 If/when he comes in I really do hope im proven wrong, much prefer for Dowie to make a huge difference and move the club up the table. But i can't see it at the moment, different views and all that.

But i can't see it at the moment, different views and all that. Yeah... well it'll be interesting to say the least (thats if he does come and that all depends on Uncle Milan) and to be honest I just have no faith in RK whatsoever, and to be honest i dont think RK would mind stepping aside... if we had a reserve team it'd be interesting to see how RK did in that sort of role (as i wonder if that might be more suited to him) but sadly we dont anymore
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 If we can say one thing, things hardly are ever boring at this club Good luck boys, come on do it this second half!
Foxhateram Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Yeah... well it'll be interesting to say the least (thats if he does come and that all depends on Uncle Milan) and to be honest I just have no faith in RK whatsoever, and to be honest i dont think RK would mind stepping aside... if we had a reserve team it'd be interesting to see how RK did in that sort of role (as i wonder if that might be more suited to him) but sadly we dont anymore mm lets see what ure all saying when we win the FA cup and win the play-offs! and looks like RK has been rowsing them up, extra long talk!!!
SystonFox Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 sounded a good 1st half - should be ahead. wouldnt mind a replay though COME ON CITY!!!
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Not a big attendance at all, 15,000 odd. I blame the prices, if it wasn't for it being £22 quid or so I probably would have drove up myself.
