Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Don't pay attention to that site. I heard Milan Mandaric is going to bring snow with him when he takes over. I tell you one thing, the Foxes Trust are going to get a frosty reception if it all falls through.
Little Nicky Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Don't pay attention to that site. I heard Milan Mandaric is going to bring Peter snow with him when he takes over. got to be better than the current strike force
Scow Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 It's reached us down the road in 'sorrel. Update: It's settling here. How exciting.
Floating Fox Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Update: It's settling here. How exciting. Its heavy here
Guest Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 I've been so busy on my essay (trespass to the person), I've only just noticed the snow. It gave me such a fright.
Libertine Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Snowing and settling here. Hopefully it'll go all night.
Geo V Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 I cant remember the last time I saw snow down here in old London Town. Its freezing as fook though and the weather attempted to play games on me earlier as I looked out of the window and the sun shined gloriously so I thought I`d put the gym gear on from here and go straight in. I put one foot outside and even with a coat I nearly froze my jewels. That bloody pesky weather
Jonbluefox9 Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 It's still coming down here. The Chavs are out in their cars spinning patterns into the snow, bless 'em.
Milky Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 just had a street snowball fight for over an hour. one of my mates chucked one really hard at this house window and the bloke inside started having a right go. He then threatened to call the police, which we thought he wouldn't have the balls for, but sure enough 20 mins later the police arrived. the police almost apologised to us and said they were embaressed to tell us to stop throwing snowballs.
Thracian Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 It's not just here. My lad's out in the French Alps for the rest of the skiing season - cheffing in a hotel while he prepares to qualify as a snowsports instructor by skiing/snowboarding in quiet daytime hours. Anyway he's been so fed up over the last week and has been moved to two different hotels within his group because there's been so little snow and the holidaymakers have been grumbling and chasing whatever snow they can find. Anyway he's now emailed me to say it's snowed solid for two days and he'll be on the slopes all day tomorrow and half the next day before he's back on shift. Says he's never seen snow like it. PS: My lunatic of a wife has just asked if we can go out and build a snowman!. Seeya!
Louise Posted 24 January 2007 Author Posted 24 January 2007 And with the final weather report this morning: it's still snowing. Artistically taken picture from my window: (had some better ones really, but this one had to go up for obvious reasons, what I'm doing taking photos of a carpark at 2am is a whole other discussion)
lookwhaticando Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Spookily, we had snow here today too. Just a sprinkling. But when you already have two or three inches on the ground, it doesn't really make a difference. We're still about 80cm short of the usual snowfall for this time of year. The heaviest snowfall we had was about two foot over the course of about 24 hours. Was kinda cool... but since we had an unpaved drive, a pain in the back (literally) to shift it all so we could move around.

Wycombe Fox Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 We've only had three 10 minute snow falls in the last seven years The last one two years ago managed to settle briefly so we took the kids for a walk round the block. There were so many people of all ages playing in it even though it was a a piffling little amount! It was all over within 30 minutes!
MC Prussian Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Yup, we had snow coming in already yesterday. Last night, however, we got another added 10 to 15 cm. I love it. Now I can finally claim to experience a "true" Winter... Anyone up for a virtual snowball challenge? Oops, they melt so easily once inside...
The People's Hero Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Snow everywhere. I focking hate snow.
Stuliasz Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Is there some kind of rule where it can't be snowing in Leicestershire and South Yorkshire at the same time? I came back from Coalville on Sunday to the streets of Sheffield covered in snow, yet while you lot are building snowmen down there, there's nowt here.
shen Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Snow everywhere. I focking hate snow. I share those sentiments Hurry up, global warming!! <_<
Geo V Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 A can confirm that finally, snow has reared its ugly head in North London. There are rumours that tonights game between the Gooners and Yids who battle for a League Cup Final spot may be in doubt. I cant work out why with all this undersoil heating business and anyway, whats wrong with whipping out the old orange ball?? Classic days!

I see your fluffy white, rapidly-melting snowball and I raise you a very frozen ball of brown slushy snow that just detached itself from a passing bus. *throws brown slush ball*
Daggers Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 There's no damn snow. Stupid Birmingham weather.
