Durnerz Posted 8 January 2006 Posted 8 January 2006 Spirito Brasilliano 0-8 Burleigh Ham United Chants of "easy easy easy" were heard around the Uni this afternoon after a dominant and quality performance by a rampant Burleigh side. Alex got the ball rolling with his first after good work from both Chris's A whole hail of goals followed that one from Alex, Jazz and Chris Smith. Woohoo!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No goal for me today, did everything but score, set up one or two though and played alright, results what matters.

SystonFox Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 they only had 4 shots. 3 shots of which were on target but were no problem for me next week... Ave It vs Burleigh Ham Utd dont think my team turned up today but we would have only got panned by AC Toluca so we'll take the 5-0 loss.... next week playing Flash In The Pan...last lost 2-0 to them when we should have won. hoping to bag a few!

stez Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Thats why no one has been on to brag. "you only sing when you're winning" Nah everyone was down the pub getting ready for the Leicester game. Fosse were missing 6 players (due to most of them working at the Citeh) and Cobbo and Kristian were still out injured, it was a shocking performance and one to forget but bloody hell it was a heck of a run. Im still proud of them Anstey werent all that, we were just incredibly poor on the day.

SystonFox Posted 15 January 2006 Posted 15 January 2006 Old School vs Flash in the Pan at 4pm. a bottom of the league 4 pointer. with both teams taking 1 win each from the previous 2 encounters it should be close. hoping for our 1st win since october but with just 5 confirmed players turning up we may need to borrow someone. not looking good.
Tomassi Posted 15 January 2006 Author Posted 15 January 2006 2 losses on the trot for fosse.. 3-1 in the county cup quarters

SystonFox Posted 15 January 2006 Posted 15 January 2006 we won 3-2 woohoo. a much needed win against a newer team who were obviously inexperienced. close game though but hope this puts a run together
Bert Posted 15 January 2006 Posted 15 January 2006 My 6 a side team won 1-0 against last season's champions, i scored the winner!!
SystonFox Posted 16 January 2006 Posted 16 January 2006 nice one bert i failed to score but i had 2 golden chances, went for glory and missed both we should have been 7-0 up at HT but they had a really good goalkeeper he kept alot out. the 2 we conceded should never have been, our defence is like a collander lets anything slip through. looking forward to next sunday to build on our result.
Katy Posted 16 January 2006 Posted 16 January 2006 west end utd 1 - 0 legion utd . great result and in to the semis!!!! Well done Sparks! Not so mighty now are they ay! I bet the AL forum is quiet today
Sparky Posted 16 January 2006 Posted 16 January 2006 legion had man sent off after about 15 minutes for hand ball in the box . we scored the penalty and had numerous 1st half chances to go 2 up but didnt take them. they dominated the 2nd half but we held on . that mark graham up front for them is a unbeliveable player
Sparky Posted 16 January 2006 Posted 16 January 2006 weve just drawn your conquerers good neighbours in the semi finals of the county cup
Cat Burger Posted 16 January 2006 Posted 16 January 2006 weve just drawn your conquerers good neighbours in the semi finals of the county cup They play really good football, pretty physical as well. Too much so for us. They have a really skillful midfielder, basically had a free role and a striker that was also immense.

Cobbo Posted 16 January 2006 Posted 16 January 2006 Their number 10 called Gibbo in the centre of midfield looked a class player, man mark him and give him a few kicks - he hated gerring challenged. Their skipper was a tall blonde lad who played in the centre of midfield too, won everything in the air from goal kicks etc, hit the goal kicks wide away from him as he set up loads of attacks with simple headers from our goal kicks.

He was a gobby get though wasnt he I was amazed I wasnt needed once during that game, for the first time this season - its amazing what a 'proper' Ref can do for a game ay!
