Nath Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 I was in N block and thought the atmosphere was brilliant. it was indeed IT SHOULD BE A PERMANT FIXTURE FROM NOW ON! lets get a petition going if it isn't allowed for baggies game
lildave3 Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 I don't know what anyone looks like. There should be some sort of 'FT FactFile' with mugshots and known aliases and all that jazz. There should be indeed.
Leonisco Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 i was stood next to two guys holding a Serbia flag That was us. Were you the guy to my right who kept missing that balloon whenever it came to you?
Simon Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 N block atmosphere was fantastic today, especially first half, and I think the players really appreciated. It would be much better if we could make the area bigger- then maybe the whole ground would hear it! I hope that the idea continues... Pity about the drum being taken away...
Libertine Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 There could be a Foxestalk group on Myspace and the like.
Flynny Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 There could be a Foxestalk group on Myspace and the like. I've been meaning to get around to making one o' dem fer ages but I can't be arsed. A thread would do the job. EDIT: A myspace, not the group.

Nath Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 will this be done again next week. my 12 year old nephew wants to sit there. is 12 too young? never to young, never to old, my 60 something () year old grandad was singing along! aslong as your nephew sings, he is more than welcome
escape2victory Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 N block sounded quality, and i was in the south stand today. Dont know what people are on about that they couldnt hear you. Well done to all involved
Independiente Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 I was on the halfway line on the front row of the East Stand and the Kop was very loud on the odd occasion. N1 was good all the first half but seemed to fade a bit during the second half. Think that was just the nature of the game. It was impressive but to reach full effect you're going to have to attract all the singers from the Kop over to N1 and L1, else we'll just have three separate blocks of singers when really we need to concentrate them near the away fans.

foss1884 Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 I was in Block N and i thought the atmosphere from the singers in this section was superb and in general the noise inside the stadium was excellent. I am sure we made ourselves heard, Milan signalled to Block N and so did Rob Kelly and that is proof enough today, coupled with the 3-0 result that the singing section was worthwhile and we had an impact. The players even showed their appreciation by coming over to clap, which must be a first for the North Stand and Henderson was the first to show his appreciation for the support by immediately clapping. The Kop, on occasions, could be heard and were rather loud, so we are making headway. All we need to do is keep the bandwaggon firmly moving and get this idea firmly established and entrenched in The Walkers Stadium. For the first time today, i was excited at a home football match because of the amazing scenes of passion in Block N. I had friends who had never been to a football match before converted because of the Block N experience! The Coventry fans certainly could hear us and looked very agitated by the constant noise. I bet they were dying for a goal to chant exuberantly "Your not singing, anymore!" I have been a season ticket holder in The Kop since the inauguration of the stadium and the noise we generated in Block N today and the banter that was had, far surpasses what i have ever experienced in The Kop. This is a new dawn and the Block N Barmy Army is the way ahead! This is an exciting time and i urge any passionate supporter to join the Block N revolution.

Ever since we were at the meeting the momentum had built and it all finally cam together today and was a great day out for everyone that was there I should hope. Hopefully we can continue to move on with the idea and develop it more.

Bryn Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 N block sounded quality, and i was in the south stand today. Dont know what people are on about that they couldnt hear you. Well done to all involved Nah I know what people are on about, I couldn't hear them singing. But I knew you were singing cause I could see you doing it. L and K (where I was) were generating a fair bit of noise too, it's possible that the noise wasn't carrying across the stadium very well. Main thing is, the manager, players and Milan heard, and the Covscum certainly fooking did
dannyallen1992 Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Did anyone see two guys holding up a Serbia flag during the game? That was me and Flynny. Yes i saw that my mates couldnt tho they just kept saying where
