davieG Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 i started one!! COME ON YOU BLUES it would seem that in your excitement to do so you messed up the title.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 it would seem that in your excitement to do so you messed up the title. never been a better chance to beat those bastards, they have been somewhat a bit of a booger team of the last few seasons. Boogeration will occur!!! Feed the horse some puggies!!!
Leicfox Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 never been a better chance to beat those bastards, they have been somewhat a bit of a booger team of the last few seasons. Boogeration will occur!!! Feed the horse some puggies!!! How true.
Phlashman Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 If there's anything that could kill the recent positive mood it's an evening in Burnley, but if we can get a result we'll keep the buzz going until saturday for West Brom.
Stuliasz Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Any kind of result would be a good one. Make no mistake it will be a much tougher game than Cov but I think we can do it as long as we don't put in one of those really crappy away performances which we have seen so often this season.
kylestyle06 Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 I think we have a chance. Got to focus, get the lead, and not let them have the rest of the chances for the game! http://boards.footymad.net/mboard/fmb.php?...;mid=2134070843 Burnley fans are thinking too high of themselves surely
Phlashman Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 It will not be easy, they have hit a bit of form recently with four wins on the bounce I think. Are they mad? Anyway, a win and some results going our way will put us in the "best of the rest" position, top of the teams behind the gap to 10th and dare I say.... Top half!
MC Prussian Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Dream on, dreamers... A win would be nice, though.
surrifox Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 we usually reserve an extra special crap performance for Burnley home or away
Ric Flair Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 If we can win here tonight then it will show just what Milan Mandaric has done for this club already. We have a horrific record against Burnley in recent years and the Mandaric Facor might just change that. We need a big game from Horsfield and Hume again tonight.
Glen_lcfc Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Win three in a row, with two being tough away opposistion! Its a big ask for LEicester but an ask which the players need to show they are capable of. I beleive they are and tonight will show with a deserved 3-1 victory coming our way. Well I'm off up to Burnley now fora pre-match pint...or two...
Thracian Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Can't wait to get there - Turf Moor in the mist and drizzle. What a treat! Whenever I imagine a football postcard I think of Burnley. Back to back houses, rain glistening on the roofs in the light of stray or lost sunbeams, mill chimneys and women with a fag on. It was an old postcard.....

Maybe more like this for your postcard.
Wils Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Id take a draw tonight but hopefully we can knick it. Come on Boys,Bert aint gonna be happy he missed out on starting this.
Guest Gist Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 We can do this tonight and I've got a good feeling we will.
lookwhaticando Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 If we can win here tonight then it will show just what Milan Mandaric has done for this club already. We have a horrific record against Burnley in recent years and the Mandaric Facor might just change that. We need a big game from Horsfield and Hume again tonight. Although we also overturned Ipswich the other day, for the first time in the league in 19 years. And that was pre-Milan.
Geo V Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Although we also overturned Ipswich the other day, for the first time in the league in 19 years. And that was pre-Milan. We arguably could have got more away to Cardiff and Colchester recently too. I think we`ll beat Burnley tonight, especially if the side remains unaltered. Burnley are playing crap and are even below us in the table despite spending money on players like Steve Caldwell, Joey Gudjohnson and Ade Akinbuyi (our best friend). Also Djemba-Djemba is there on loan and they have a player that there dellusional boss claimed to be worth £6m up front, Kyle Lafferty http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...=90&cpid=14 I reckon it will be a boring 1-0 or 2-0 win with Horse scoring before making way for Fryatt who nips in with a late goal as Burnley push forward for an equaliser.
lookwhaticando Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Definitely Colchester. We got robbed by a feckin' crap ref. So I gather, anyway.
holly Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 cant decide if i`m looking forward to tonight or not..... only 45 mins from me so not bothered bout travellin, but its gunna be cold and prob a really scrappy game
Nationwider Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Missing out on the trip to Burnley for once this year.... ...but I do like a nice full midweek fixture list on Sky Sports. Just a pity there's no room for Brum v Sunderland on TV... Some important games tonight... Barnsley v Hull, 19:45 Burnley v Leicester, 19:45 Coventry v Southampton, 19:45 Leeds v QPR, 19:45 Luton v Sheff Wed, 19:45 Preston v Norwich, 19:45 Southend v Crystal Palace, 19:45
Dames Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 This in all honesty has a dire 0-0 written all over it.
filbertway Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Id take a draw tonight but hopefully we can knick it. Come on Boys,Bert aint gonna be happy he missed out on starting this. We'll draw, we definately won't win if berty aint started the match thread
