Just curious,Im a computer programmer for cncs and have access to the internet,which should make it easy for me to pop online anytime i want,but its not as my MDs office is right next door to mine and i shit myself everytime i hear the door go incase i get caught,How do you lot get away with it all day?

Well, amongst other things, I'm responsible for our IT. As system/network administrator I've okayed myself to come on here but generally speaking blocked others from having any recreational access.

I know my employment law, and my employers know I know my employment law. I can't be sacked for doing nothing unless they give me something to do (which they very rarely do, when they do it gets done properly) so they turn a blind eye. Unless they don't know I'm not doing anything, which would make them complete idoits.

And the majority of their bosses will know they do nothing but not particularly care. That's they way things work. Nothing to do with employment law really. Personally I like a challenge and wouldn't be happy twiddling my fingers. Some people are different. And fair play to you if that's what you like!
