Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 That would be quite funny actually, 45 minutes a half, not as if anyones getting an advantage is it The 5-a-side goal will probably look full-size to them anyway. I reckon we could get away with it.
Joe. Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Either from St Margaret's or Victoria Park really. They're both easy enough to get to. As long as we can have a game down there I don't really care!
Alexikokopops Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Viccy Park, the pub was the deciding factor. Plus I think jumpers for goalposts will remind some people that it's that serious.

If the Venue is viccy park I will try and get us some goals, like I say I have one. One Idea would be to all chip in for a second goal post, and then sell it on Ebay afterwards, the proceeds going to Charlie Jarvis's fund (Janxs son) Would only be about £100 made for him but would be better than nothing.

Daggers Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Sorry - is this thread also available for idle chitchat as the title leaves it unclear?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Sorry - is this thread also available for idle chitchat as the title leaves it unclear? We used to be moderators. Any thread is available for idle chitchat. Apart from the official threads in TN&T. I fear Lisa.
The People's Hero Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Us ex-mods actually wield more power than many of the current mods themselves. Not that I'm accusing them of being puppets... but now you mention it...
filbertway Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Vicky park and getting some kind of goals seems like a good idea, i'm swayed. Yep.. i'm just a sheep Waits for someone to mention derby...
lcfc_jme Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 I've gone for Judgemeadow. The summertime pitches at Aylestone and Viccy park will be way too hard, and I don't like the sort of astroturf at St Maggies.
Thracian Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 I haven't got a clue where Judge Meadow is and have voted Viccy Park cos I've got happy memories of the place...apart from the cross country runs we used to do round there.

Judgemeadow is in Evington. But if you're happy for me to tear the skin off my legs and severely hurt myself on concrete-esque mud, then I'm happy as well.
Tomassi Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 st pastures please at least then the ground will be flat so NO excuses for poor passes cobbo...

Cobbo Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 st pastures please at least then the ground will be flat so NO excuses for poor passes cobbo... Right that's it.
Koke Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 The grass at Vicky Park can be ridicously shit sometimes -- And its June, it'll be packed with people left, right and centre. I have voted Judgemeadow
Tomassi Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Right that's it. You love me really... anyway shouldnt you say something about my 'poor' shooting ?
Lord Nibblington Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 I voted for Viccy Park. Since it is a mere 5 minutes away from where I live, and as mentioned by others, the old whore horse is nearby for before and post match purposes.
Tommeh Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 c'mom st maggies pastures. I've no idea where any of the others are
Scow Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Viccy Park - No cost (avoiding the poor bugger organising that side of things) - Pubs within short distance (Important) - Central location, easy to get to - No constraints on time
