That one is dedicated to the muppets at the ECB, and in a fair few punditry circles, who believe that lowly clubs like Leicestershire should be muscled out of the county format.

 

Wins like today annoy the same sorts of people who hated our Premier League win. Drink it in. :beer:

Saw the furious Hampshire lads leg it out of their seats but nothing beyond that, heard there was a fight but thankfully saw nothing of it, had kids with us.  

 

Totally unnecessary.

Him and Butcher are amazing at fighting the corner of the counties as well as what they’ve done for the women’s game in the media. I hope as a county fan Daggers is feeling happy tonight.

What an amazing day and performance, it was never going to be the county way to do it easily. Whatever happens in the rest of their careers, Swindells and Evans will always have this day. Hull didn’t bowl well at all and yet still pulled it off in that last over which says a lot of his character, that’ll take him a long way.

I’ve not caught up on 5 pages but the crowd got us over the line in that. Spectacular support. Leicestershire is a really special place

You guys in the Fox Road stand were immense. Fantastic support and made the day even more fun. Totally compelling sport. Swindells, Evans and Hull the heroes.
