lildave3 Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 What kind of crowds could we attact? I'd like to think it wouldn't go down, but it will. Probably to about 15/20k
lee7 Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 we definately wouldn't be attracting big crouds somewhere between 18/20k
Tommeh Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 we'd still probably get highest in league 1 inc. Forest as they only get around 17k most games which isn't much to shout about crowds will depend on success, but lets hope it doesnt come to this and we stay in the championship!
Flynny Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 I reckon we probably got rid of a lot of the people who only come when we're doing well between our Premiership season and now. A League One promotion campaign with cheap tickets (cheaper than at the moment, anyway) would give us gates of at least 18k, possibly 20k, I reckon.
FilboFox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 No idea... I would say around 15k-16k on average. For big matches though perhaps 20k. Won't happen though so we're OK!
MC Prussian Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 14 k.Away fans wont bring many atal in that league. Don't underestimate the "curiosity factor". Hardly any other team in League One has ever played at the Walkers. Expect a lot of "Oohs" and "Aahs".

Yeah, It's like when West Ham come down or any other big club people talk about going to the grounds of the relegated teams because they are seen as the 'bigger games'.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 I can't even begin to imagine the Walkers if we drew a lowly team at home in the early rounds of the Johnstones Paint Trophy. Forest got about 2,000 this season in the same situation. That crowd in the Walkers would be barely noticeable.

Thracian Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Almost as good as now if we were winning and at the top end of the League.

Joe. Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Around 16k I should think. Yeah I would think around that too....
The Reverend Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 Yeah I would think around that too.... Depends how we are doing - if we are near the top we will easy get 25k - fans like winning. But if we do crap expect very low attendances.
Louise Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 All depends on pricing I'd say. That and how well we do & how much is invested... If we price well I could see 20k at least - of course you get some people who just want to see the opposition, but we've had good crowds for most of this season and this league is full of rubbish teams. Barnsley was our biggest crowd because of cheap tickets. If they open all the stands. Too many variables to talk about at the moment really, the actual thought is making me feel a bit sick to be honest.
Geo V Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 I reckon about 16-18k. I think most of us will still turn up but the away end wont be so busy.

Our gates weren't that high for those matches christ knows what they'll be like for the JPT.
Dr The Singh Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Depends on ticket prices, I wouldn't pay the £20 a ticket for league 1!!
Geo V Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Depends on ticket prices, I wouldn't pay the £20 a ticket for league 1!! You would if we were mullering everyone 4-0!
Master Fox Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 Depends on ticket prices, I wouldn't pay the £20 a ticket for league 1!! I think a fiver would be the most amount of money I would be willing to pay for a league 1 game
