lcfc_jme Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 94th Minute winner. They've snatched a few of their wins this season right at the death. Wan kers. I remember a time when we used to score last minute goals. It was a much better time..
filbertway Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 Fair play Leeds, you've got to admire the way they've got themselves back up the league. People not being admired: Dennis wise.
leedslad Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Most of your fans do.I said what I did just to have a dig really. Something that that Leeds fan said bugs me in a way I can't really explain. I'm certain you'll find that most Leeds fans that actually go to games know that we are a shit team, in a shit league. The reason we're doing well is everyone else is even shitter.
leedslad Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 They won again. We all laughed at them when they got relegated but I bet their fans are having more fun that we are at the moment. I can assure you- we are! So what it was pretty obvios they would be close even with -15. ...Read the posts on this thread around the time the points were docked. The 'R' word is used a lot!
Ashley Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Why do Leeds still sing We are the champions, Champions of Europe?
Kent Fox Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Why do Leeds still sing We are the champions, Champions of Europe? Don't ask! Now they'll come in their droves and tell us how hard done to they were and how the ref was on the take yadda yadda...
leedslad Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Why do Leeds still sing We are the champions, Champions of Europe? It's an ironic dig. We we're 'robbed' by a bent ref in the 1975 champions league final, so from then on we sung it and we still do. Even more ironic now we're in League One Makes for a good atmosphere too!
lcfc_jme Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007 Mixed feelings today. Leeds won again with a goal at the death. But Big Mark scored it, and I'm delighted for him.
filbertway Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007 Mixed feelings today. Leeds won again with a goal at the death. But Big Mark scored it, and I'm delighted for him. That's another last minute winner for them, but well done the big man
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 October 2007 Posted 7 October 2007 Mixed feelings today. Leeds won again with a goal at the death. But Big Mark scored it, and I'm delighted for him. Is Big Mark Viduka back playing for them
leedslad Posted 3 November 2007 Posted 3 November 2007 Couldn't give a shit about the result today; 1) We played Carlisle off the pitch for 60 mins today, so if they are the best team in this league, then we're going up! 2) The pressure of every team wanting to be the first to beat us is off! 3) A good laugh, piss-up and Leeds fans were excellent as usual- even losing is enjoyable with Leeds! MOT Oh 'we're not famous anymore', yet you got 3 times your average attendance today I'm blaming it on me not Basset/Poyet, I've never seen us win away...

leedslad Posted 3 November 2007 Posted 3 November 2007 What the point if you lose anyway? ...the point is we've shown Carlisle are as shit as anyone else in this league, so they aren't going to win the league by a country mile. If we can play what is supposedly the best team in the league off the pitch, what does it say about the rest of the league? (consider we've already beaten all of the 'top' teams)

They've just beat you 3-1. If you were that good, you would've beat them.
leedslad Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 HAHA. They've just beat you 3-1. If you were that good, you would've beat them. As you've just said on the other thread- goals win games, not performances. Yet I think perfomances show who have the most potential to score goals in future games. You could say, we lost the battle but we'll win the war. ...It's also easier to score when 80% of freekicks go your way

ASH17LCFC Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I thought leeds where all over them and they just seem to fall apart. I kinda like leeds but not now, never like a club where cockeyes is at.

We've had many a player in our academy who have had great "potential" and came to nothing, and i'm sure you have at Leeds as well.
leedslad Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Yes, because as per usual the authorities are biased against Leeds and nothing goes their way ever. ...Now you mention it, I would like to see some evidence of things going our way from the authorities...

Bert Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 ...so, going undefeated until yesterday isn't 'the real thing'? Well you said potential in future games, and that's what i was referring too, you've had a good start and im sure you'll win the league, but you have to put this potential to use, was what i was trying to get at because yuo clearly didn't put it to use at Carlisle if you understand that.
