Another loss.

...More than a loss, a fooking shambles. The players didn't even look like they gave a shit- and when 2000 travel all that way on a Tuesday- that fooking hurts.

Oh, we ain't going up either...

Hardly sudden considering we've not won away, or played well since November.

Spurs pick Poyet to assist Ramos

Hummm...

They'll still go up I reckon. There's a long way to go yet.

Was shocked looking at the table to see Swansea so far ahead and with a game in hand. They look dead certs at the moment.

Whilst I agree that Poyet probably had more personal influence in the squad and keeping players confident etc than Wise did, you've got to question just how much influence an assistant manager has on a team. Also, at Carlisle away 3/4 November- the first game without Poyet, we played the best football I've seen from us all season (ironically, we lost). Rather than the loss of Poyet being the watershed, I look at it as the motivation of the -15 wearing off, Wise being rumoured to be losing the dressing room and the appointment of hoofball extrodinaire Bassett. Poyet's influence probably was a factor, but it's certainly a more complex debate than one man being the messiah.

17 games left. I disagree, we aren't going to go up automatically- we're not good enough and we have a precedent of bottling big games, which will affect us in the play offs (if we manage them). If we continue playing as we are, we will be lucky to make the play-offs. It all depends on what Gary Mac can do. I reckon we'll have a much clearer picture of where we'll finish in a few games time. Hopefully we'll revert to passing football, which is what we are best at, if so then we're in with a chance. If the change is negligible then it's season over IMO.

We could do with them to keep winning now, they've still got some top teams to play so it would help us. They were shocking at Elland Road, but we sure got a surprise at the Liberty- they were excellent- thrashed us with 10 men, playing excellent football- so they deserve to go up based on that transformation.

I wonder how many of these threads are floating about on other teams forums at the moment...but change Leeds for Leicester?

Plymouth?

Coventry?

Leeds?

Forest?

Derby?

e.t.c...
