God I love the BBC.
AoWW Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 What a plank.... What a tit. Plank? Tit? Make your minds up!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 God I love the BBC. Hahaha that is exactly what I was going to put. Look I've copied and pasted it and everything - " Last Updated: Tuesday, 1 May 2007, 15:44 GMT 16:44 UK E-mail this to a friend Printable version Man City ban Barton after bust-up Barton's agent claims the player was defending himself Manchester City have suspended Joey Barton for the rest of the season after he hit team-mate Ousmane Dabo in training, BBC Sport understands. Dabo had to go to hospital after sustaining injuries to his mouth during the incident at Carrington on Tuesday. Barton's agent, Willie McKay, said he had not spoken directly to the player yet, but played down the incident. He told BBC Sport: "As far as I've heard, he was defending himself. But because it is Joey it makes headlines." McKay added: "It happens on training grounds all over the country, from Chelsea to Yeovil." City are currently refusing to confirm the identity of the player who has been suspended. A club statement read: "We can confirm that a player has been suspended pending an internal investigation." lildave3 Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 When I first heard it I knew it would be Barton. Very talented player, but gets in trouble too much.
lookwhaticando Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 I used to think he was quite good for City. Now I think he's quite a thug for City. Assault, assault, another assault, and yes... another assault. He's like Ben Thatcher but in public, not just on the pitch.
Geo V Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Barton needs a change of scenery. I can see him moving to a Newcastle or Everton even next season. He is talented but has gone stale at Man City and opened his mouth to much. Pearce cant control him and its down to a Sam Allardyce (when he goes to the Geordies) or maybe David Moyes to sort the daft sod out.
Matt Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Nice to see you can't not hear about this story but when it happened at Leicester you didn't hear very much about it at all! Whenever I make my hate for Wise known everyone asks me why I hate him so much, They understand he is a unlikable bloke but my (and many other LCFC fans) hate goes further than that...and we then have explain what happened. Mind you dunno whether it's good thing or not that it was well publicised about Wise, Although if it was i'm sure alot more people would give Wise alot more abuse!
dandannieldanok Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Barton's a thug, the quicker Man City ship him out the better, unsurprisingly Dabo wants to sue him.

Im suprised people havent made it a race thing! http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...+Barton+bust-up Apparently the coward hit him when he was walking away.
Bert Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Very talented footballer, such a shame he's only got half a brain and is a thug.
Geo V Posted 3 May 2007 Posted 3 May 2007 Very talented footballer, such a shame he's only got half a brain and is a thug. He has been itching for a move for a while but doesnt seem to want to walk out but he seems to want to be booted out. Firstly he opens his mouth on Man City and then he baloons a peno over the bar the prat I cant see him there next season.
Koke Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 It runs in the family I suppose. At least he has talent, unlike that utter and disgraceful excuse of a footballer, Ben Thatcher.
