Daggers Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 I've spent the weekend listening to more folk music than any grown man should have to. Fortunately, Chumbawamba were excellent
The People's Hero Posted 19 June 2006 Posted 19 June 2006 I met Soulwax. Awesome band awesome guys too! I want to meet them. Invite them to our Northampton booze fuelled shindig. They can DJ or something.
Benji Posted 19 June 2006 Posted 19 June 2006 Paolo Nutini-Last Request Saw him on Jools Holland great voice Blunt get yer coat Nutini's the new boy in town I saw that too, he is good, don't you think his voice doesn't match what you expect when you see him? I expected a rugged 'the strokes' kinda voice. No one will push Blunty aside though
MC Prussian Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Coheed and Cambria - The Suffering I saw the band in Vancouver, Autumn 2005. The Croatian Cultural Centre was crammed with teens and I was constantly pushed towards the stage by some kick-ass kids in the back... I'm not such an Emo fan (or whatever you want to call this kind of music genre), but the concert was awesome.
Daggers Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Having just seen them at the DM this weekend - Chumbawamba Still on the correct side of the fence after all these years...even if it is a mellow acoustic fence these days
