RedOnRed Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Bingo. How long must we wait? L ol, I thought there was something sado masochistic about you the moment you walked in with that gimp outfit on.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Interesting, I haven't witnessed this level of behaviour since I was at school. How do you want me to react? I take it you either want me to start agreeing with you or rising to the bait and getting equally as abusive? I've been there and done all of the flame wars stuff years ago on the web. You know, hurling abuse at people from the comfort of my keyboard. Is there some sort of football club interogation agency that i'm not aware of? I can just imagine you lot eagerly strapping someone to a chair and torturing them until they prove to you once and for all what team they really support. "Ahh, A Dons fan, first the finger nails and we'll have him singing like a canary". Like I say I was 7 years old. I've lived in MK a damn site longer. Im not being abusive, you'd know about it if I was being abusive, Im pointing out that acting like a child thats had it's dolly taken off it, and sulking because we have the nerve to critisize the Franchise FC. so 7 years in Stevenage eh but you had no other team to support so why not them, and 7 years! I make that four years longer than the mighty dons have been in existance!

The football supporter police are on my back again. This way for verfication sir. We're going to process you like in Bladerunner by running a retinal scan. I was 7 years old when I left Stevenage which is going back quite a few years and to be honest at that age or time i'm not sure if they actually existed let alone what league they would've been in. Can't see why you have such a problem with me not supporting a team before the Dons arrived when most other people in that situation support a team the other end of the country like Liverpool or Man UTD. I was always determined not to do that. I think the worst situation is when you have someone from say London that supports say a top north west team. I know of a guy that was born a stones throw away from West Ham's ground and lived there for the first half of his life but has always supported Liverpool. I also know of another Londoner that has always supported Man UTD.

Yes they are also scum but what happened to Wimbledon was disgusting and the Franchise is the end product. I don't think you can detract from what Winkleman did, He's no saviour he went looking for a club and approached QPR and Barnet before buying Wimbledon. adminstration or no adminstration Wimbledon would of survived somehow, instead of backing one his local sides he went out and got in a ready made team, not cricket IMO.

Don't forget Luton too. I think what Winkelman did was approach clubs that were either looking to relocate and/or were in finacial troubles and offered them an alternative option. People keep saying Wimbledon would've survived. They'd been homeless for 13 years and arrived under adminisration with us having to sell all of the top players to get them out of it. Unless you're expecting some sort of biblical like miracle to have enabled them to survive presumably you have got a secret business plan you could share with us or perhaps patent first for a billion quid? Don't foget that Wimbledon had seriously considered moving to Ireland under Hamann.

Oh don't get me wrong, they would of gone hurtling down the leagues all the way down to the Confernce South probabley, which is exactly where they had come from and to be honest where they belonged. However the people of Wimbledon would of still had their club. Which at the end of the day is all that they wanted. Winkleman is a lazy twat that wanted it all ready made and didn't give a flying one who he upset to get it.

Winkelman actually lives in a mansion very close to me (not that I also live in a mansion) and I say this with all honesty that his heart is absolutely in the right place and he's a very genuine alright sort of guy. I'm not so sure he would go through all this again if he had the benefit of hindsight. You are under the wrong impression that we stole the club with Winkelman going down there with a gun and a horses head to put in someones bed. It's always going to be a very emtional point when a club relocates and I would be very upset about it too but he put the only viable offer for survival they had on the table and they willingly accepted it.

His heart can be in the right place for all I care, he seems to treat his staff fairly well I must admit but I wont condone the way he acted in attempting to attract a club to Milton Keynes. Are you telling me the Wimbledon fans accepted it willingly, no they didn't, they kicked and screamed until they were blue in the face. The twats in the board room accepted it, they sold out because they wanted and out quickly and they didn't give a monkeys what happened to the club.
dandannieldanok Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 I heard McLeod is on the verge of signing for us.
The Reverend Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 For God's sake people. The guy supports MK Dons, get over it. Its not his fault what happened to Wimbledon, i cant believe people are arguing that he should support a different team closer to where he lived. Childish. He's come on here to discuss Izale McLeod, and fair play to you RedOnRed. So to get this topic back on track, RedOnRed, do you think Izale McLeod could make the step up into a (now) promotion chasing team?
teblin Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 I heard McLeod is on the verge of signing for us. Where?
dandannieldanok Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Where? My grandad phoned from the Walkers saying he spotted Izale talking............................................ ..........actually mate it's a whopping lie, I just got bored of the tedious argument about whether MK Dons are a proper club, and frankly I couldn't care less
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 So to get this topic back on track, RedOnRed, do you think Izale McLeod could make the step up into a (now) promotion chasing team? I think he's already been over this about 50 times.
The Reverend Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 I think he's already been over this about 50 times. Definitly, but i'd rather talk about that than wether MK are a 'proper' club or not
dandannieldanok Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Definitly, but i'd rather talk about that than wether MK are a 'proper' club or not I'd rather talk about nuts, what are better Nobby's or KP?
Mort Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 I cant wait for the day this thread is closed... i dont even care if we wind up Izzy or not, i just want this sodding thread closed and some discussion about decent potential signings instead...
The People's Hero Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Definitly, but i'd rather talk about that than wether MK are a 'proper' club or not (they're not)
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Surely it can be closed anyway seeing as Manadric as been quoted in saying he isn't interested.
The Reverend Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 I'd rather talk about nuts, what are better Nobby's or KP? Definitly Nobbys. (they're not)

It's a Leicester City forum so who am I to argue (i'm sure someone wil remind me anyway) but why do people comment just to say how bored they are with it or how much they want it closed? Why not just leave it to let people comment on it if they want to - which goes for anything in life with a free society.
Master Fox Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Surely it can be closed anyway seeing as Manadric as been quoted in saying he isn't interested. Where's this quote then?
dandannieldanok Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Where's this quote then? We ain't getting him.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Where's this quote then? Was on the radio yesterday, apparently.
