Fosters? Carling? Calsberg? I thought the subject was beer?

I thought it would be better to continue in this thread than creating a whole new one entitled "Lagers that some think taste like piss"

Beer...? Sounds like a good idea tonight.

Pfftt, I'm still waiting for that drink you keep offering me.:thumbup:

Having finished the antiboitics, I'm mulling over a couple of bottles tonight - although strictly speaking, it's probably not a good idea.

Beneficial for morale though - so Spitfire it is!

I have received from Riley's (ex Willie Thorne) a letter containg 4 vouchers for a pint of Fosters at £1.50 a pint. Also if I let them have 10 email address and for everyone that joins their club they will give me a fiver. I have to enter a special taken from their web site on the vouchers. If anyone wants to join and lets me have permission to use their email address I will give the vouchers to the first person that joins. All they will do is email you with details of any offers coming up. I doubt that I will use the vouchers. Other beers they have are John Smith and Strongbow. Not my favourites.

In critical hot times like these, it's essential we start talking sense beer again in a straightforward manner.

Beer - the beverage of gods, champions and drunkards. I cannot imagine what life would be without it. All the wars, conflicts and aggression we were spared in the past, only thanks to the holy grail of all that is liquid.

What's your favourite and why?

Which is the best beer available in England?
