Rincewind Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Fosters? Carling? Calsberg? I thought the subject was beer?
Unabomber Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Fosters? Carling? Calsberg? I thought the subject was beer? I thought it would be better to continue in this thread than creating a whole new one entitled "Lagers that some think taste like piss"
Floating Fox Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Fosters? Carling? Calsberg? I thought the subject was beer?
Floating Fox Posted 13 July 2007 Posted 13 July 2007 Oh you and your real ale Don't knock untill you've tried.
AoWW Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Beer...? Sounds like a good idea tonight. Pfftt, I'm still waiting for that drink you keep offering me.
Nationwider Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Having finished the antiboitics, I'm mulling over a couple of bottles tonight - although strictly speaking, it's probably not a good idea. Beneficial for morale though - so Spitfire it is!
Wils Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Pfftt, I'm still waiting for that drink you keep offering me. One night, you will get that drink. Cricketers Beeer garden? Actually i think your a bit classier than that.
Finnegan Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Fosters Although when I was away, it was all desperados/bud. Fosters? Haha. You'll grow out of it.

lildave3 Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Fosters? Haha. You'll grow out of it. Is bud to your taste?
Head Honcho Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Fosters? Haha. You'll grow out of it. Agreed. How Fosters can be described as nothing more then cats piss is beyond me. It is truly awful.
Blue Bob Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 Sorry, but life is too short to give up things you enjoy, couldnt do it.
Rincewind Posted 14 July 2007 Posted 14 July 2007 I have received from Riley's (ex Willie Thorne) a letter containg 4 vouchers for a pint of Fosters at £1.50 a pint. Also if I let them have 10 email address and for everyone that joins their club they will give me a fiver. I have to enter a special taken from their web site on the vouchers. If anyone wants to join and lets me have permission to use their email address I will give the vouchers to the first person that joins. All they will do is email you with details of any offers coming up. I doubt that I will use the vouchers. Other beers they have are John Smith and Strongbow. Not my favourites.
MC Prussian Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 In critical hot times like these, it's essential we start talking sense beer again in a straightforward manner. Beer - the beverage of gods, champions and drunkards. I cannot imagine what life would be without it. All the wars, conflicts and aggression we were spared in the past, only thanks to the holy grail of all that is liquid. What's your favourite and why? Which is the best beer available in England?
Fox You Forest Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 What's your favourite and why? SAN MIGUEL - "because it's sterile and i like the taste"Which is the best beer available in England? SAN MIGUEL
samingram_uk Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I love the Bud. A few bottles of 'wifebeater' when im passed it goes down well, but gives me a serious headache in the morning so i try to avoid it.
