Daggers Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolazo! Golazo! Golazo! Golazo! Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolazo! Now that's commentary - top that Barber!
mancunianfox Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Now that's commentary - top that Barber! Why do you think that they don't let him on radio derby?
potter3 Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Hume's GoalGood goal by Hume, took it well LCFC fans will see 20+ of these next season when we go up. Hume to be rated at £5million when the seasons done. Comment on that video
Ric Flair Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Quality finish. I think he'll notch 18 next season and there will still be plenty of moaners.
Flynny Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 I wonder whether us England fans feel the same pain about Giggs choosing Wales over England as you do about Hume choosing Canada over Scotland? That didn't happen though. Giggs isn't eligable to play for England.
BartonFox Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Barton, show your face, Barton, Barton, show your face!!!!You must be seething with this news about young Iain. I wonder whether us England fans feel the same pain about Giggs choosing Wales over England as you do about Hume choosing Canada over Scotland? What are you talking about? A thoroughly unfulfilling Gold Cup for our esteemed hero. Hume wouldn't even get close to our D squad at present and has never been a serious contender for a Scottish cap. Christ even Gareth Williams got one in the Berti Vogts era. Steven Naismith, Garry O'Connor, Kenny Miller, James McFadden, Shaun Maloney, Craig Beattie, Steven Fletcher, Derek Riordan, Kris Boyd - none world beaters all a class apart from Hume. As you know running round like a headless chicken doesn't wash for me
Joe. Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 As you know running round like a headless chicken doesn't wash for me Don't want to start up the tiresome argument again but surely you can admit he has some quality to him as well as his work rate?
Daggers Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Don't want to start up the tiresome argument again but surely you can admit he has some quality to him as well as his work rate? Yea - and while you're at it try to get Barton to agree that Paul Smith was only decent in the early 90's
Jimmy Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 That didn't happen though. Giggs isn't eligable to play for England. yes he was, played for us at schools/youth level
Webbo Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 yes he was, played for us at schools/youth level He played for England schoolboys because he went to school in Manchester, apart from that he doesn't qualify for England.
BartonFox Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 Don't want to start up the tiresome argument again but surely you can admit he has some quality to him as well as his work rate? Listen I know what he possesses, but the way some carry on here is embarrassing. This Gold Cup adventure proves many were taken in by the LCFC spin machine and have the inability to form their own opinions just in case it differs from the majority

act smiley Posted 22 June 2007 Posted 22 June 2007 This Gold Cup adventure proves many were taken in by the LCFC spin machine and have the inability to form their own opinions just in case it differs from the majority What, a series of competent but unspectacular subsitute appearances, before coming on in the semifinal and being one of the key players in turning things around from being 2-0 down to what should have been 2-2 including scoring a very good goal? OK, he didn't start every match and dominate them with a hat-trick every time, but he's hardly been that bad, and he's been part of a Canada team that's finally starting to look like less of a joke. I just don't see how you can rate this as a particularly bad tournament for either him or Canada. And besides, since when did we have a spin machine that was at all capable of taking anyone in?
