Edmund Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Bit woried after seeing a piece on skysports about portsmouth's new kit. They were slagging the old kits off saying that they absorbed to much sweat and they added extra weight for the players (according to pompey sports scientist). There new kits are lush tho, got the rugby manufaturer making them. Why do we have to have such whack sponsers everytime. Fox Leisure - Le Cock - JJB - JAKO. That is all.....

Mr Happy Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 yeah each to there own, but everyones missing the point. they absorb to much sweat.... What difference does that make? Maybury and Kenton don't can't run anyway
AyewJoking Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 So Pompeys shirts absorbed too much sweat? Whos to say JAKO havent improved the quality? I agree though JAKO is a crappy brand.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Don't speak ill of Fox Leisure or else Fox Lesuire was the best we've had in a long time, and, for me, it brings back nostalgia of the good old days. I agree, anyone that slags off Fox Lesuire deserves what's coming to them.

lildave3 Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 I like the kit tbh, and the training gear looks good too. Jako like their name on everything though, MA even had Jako socks on (with his flip-flops)
Bluefoxtim Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Is the training wear on sale yet? I saw some 18/19 year old waering the full black 'J1' tracksuit on the bus.....didn't look too bad, but in general I never have worn a tracksuit and I never will because I think they look stupid!
Pete_foxes Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 JAKO could of changed the design of there jersey's for the new season? I hope anyway
SystonFox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 i wish G Star Raw or Firetrap or Diesel would do our kits then we would be well streetwise.
Leonisco Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 yeah each to there own, but everyones missing the point. they absorb to much sweat.... Well that didn't stop them from getting into the Premiership and staying there, did it? So is it really that much of a problem?
Guest Posted 11 July 2007 Posted 11 July 2007 i wish G Star Raw or Firetrap or Diesel would do our kits then we would be well streetwise. I was hoping it would be Laura Ashley, especially as Martin is so interested in our flower beds.
MPH Posted 11 July 2007 Posted 11 July 2007 I was hoping it would be Laura Ashley, especially as Martin is so interested in our flower beds. knowing our luck though it would end up being someone like C&A...
Chairman of the Bored Posted 11 July 2007 Posted 11 July 2007 Does anyone else still wear their fox leisure trainers? I go to bed in my Fox Leisure trainers.
city1993 Posted 11 July 2007 Posted 11 July 2007 Can't get any worse than JJB Exactly, I think Jako will be o.k.
Wils Posted 11 July 2007 Posted 11 July 2007 I go to bed in my Fox Leisure trainers. You are a lucky man. Nothing will ever beat Fox Leisure.
