Phube Posted 30 July 2007 Author Posted 30 July 2007 Certainly, I was looking for a suitable insult to throw at Phube. A valid reason, if ever there was one!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 A valid reason, if ever there was one! I played on a Wii yesterday. Sonic and the secret rings is out right the worst multiplayer game I have ever played.
Daggers Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 ...I'll carry on smoking ... so that I don't become a non-smoker. Clever
Dr The Singh Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I played on a Wii yesterday. Sonic and the secret rings is out right the worst multiplayer game I have ever played. I have to admit there aren't many decent games on tghe wii full stop. I love the wii concept, but at the mo, the games are rather naff, but they will get better, developers are still getting used to the concept. Most games have mini-games as multiplayer action, why the fook they can't add that to the main game is annoying!!!!
DB11 Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 OMG Stop ****ing moaning you've got your smoking ban what more do you want. And stop being a big girls blouse "not nice people" are these people who don't spend their their free time watching Disney DVDs playing Mario and reading Harry Potter. Are you scared of them taking your lunch money or something. You are wet my old son! Very wet! A smoker I take it? tut tut...
mancunianfox Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 A smoker I take it? tut tut... Or an ex-smoker given the petulant tone of the post

Phube Posted 30 July 2007 Author Posted 30 July 2007 Ouch, you wait till Phube gets hold of that. No matter who true it may be. I'll cope!! Depends how you like your multi-player experience! But I don't do much of it. I'm caught up in RE4, Eledees and Mario Strikers at the mo'. But the landslide of games are coming late this year and early next, as all the developers are jumping ship console!! Anyway this is a smoking ban thread!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 A smoker I take it? tut tut... No I'm not, making false asumptions, tut tut.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Enjoying the new Redident Evil game, killed a massive fish the other night, ace
The People's Hero Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 My girlfriend is in the middle of quitting smoking. Hasn't had one in about 2 weeks. Quite proud of her, to be fair.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Enjoying the new Redident Evil game, killed a massive fish the other night, ace it's hardly new.
Asha Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Went to my 'local' the other day, my first time at night in a pub since July 1st. And I noticed something strange, no not the BO smell people now moan about or even the fact that you can smell evey type of alcohol on offer, all quite weird I'm sure. But my problem is the fact that all the smokers have migrated outside! What's wrong with this I hear you ask? Well it seems to have made beer gardens, especially in the smaller, less family friendly pubs, a bit of a no go area! Far be it from my to cast aspersions on people who choose to shorten their lives (and lung capacity) but far more 'not-nice' people smoke, therefore they all sit out side in the beer gardens making it intimidating for us 'nice' people to enjoy the sunshine. Whereas within the pub itself, well, it's now a really nice atmosphere where people drink, talk and generally get along without the need to accuse the fellow next to them of 'spilling their pint' or 'looking at their bird'! Secondly it's the outdoor café culture, especially in town, whereas it used to be nice to sit outside and have a sandwich or a coffee. Now you have to go inside to avoid coughing to death over your latté! Anyone else found this, or any other non-smoking realted issues? Or am I just being odd again!?? You seriously went a month without going to the pub at night??? God that's why you're going so stressed leave the smokers alone that's their decision...start drinking after 3 or 4 you could be joining them
Alexikokopops Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Back on topic I think the only reason I'll carry on smoking is so that I don't become a non-smoker. I've become what I've always feared It's horrible, keep smoking!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I've become what I've always feared It's horrible, keep smoking!! Don't be silly, it's fantastic all this fresh air and exercise I feel so much better now than I did a month ago........................
Guest Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 It's not been warm enough to enjoy a beer garden. The smokers can have them.

God that's why you're going so stressed leave the smokers alone that's their decision...start drinking after 3 or 4 you could be joining them I'm not a pubby kind of guy (as Manwell'l testify!!). I'd much rather stay in with a nice bottle of wine and a DVD!! Or go to the cinema, or a BBQ, or preferably to an expensive restaurant!! And if anyone read the bloomin' post you'd see I have never once campained for a ban on outdoor smoking!!
Alexikokopops Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Don't be silly, it's fantastic all this fresh air and exercise I feel so much better now than I did a month ago........................ Yes, yes. I whole heartedly agree
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Yes, yes. I whole heartedly agree I'm going to stop being stupid now. I feel no different. Apart from I have a cough, and cravings. Despite running and running and more running, football by the bucket load and two games of tennis a week I feel less fit now than I did when I started.
